I don't care what anybody says, this was the most perfect season they've ever done. The cast was wonderful together, Twisty seemed like a perfect villain but his full was truly heartbreaking. Dandy was evil and wicked but his death was beyond amazing. Edward MorDrake was a fantastic mix of human and supernatural. In the end everyone got what they truly wanted, a proper family and that is the greatest ending anyone could truly ask for.

In a way only the good deserve eternal happiness and love and everyone there deserved it, I'm not that surprised dell wasn't there but still he had love in his heart and I guess he just wasn't kind enough to be there. Either way this was a good way to end a great season with a great story and a perfect lesson, it doesn't matter how you look on the outside,what matters is that your kind in your heart on the inside. This is bittersweet indeed. But as I watched it again and again as i grew older. I somehow understood the beauty of this ending. Misty did get a bit too cocky with the idea of being a New Supreme, we never know if she's gonna change for the better or worse had she won the title. Elsa was a bitch but her love for the Freakshow was sincere, and deep down she does care for her freak friends (yeah she killed some of them, directly and indirectly, but still they all forgive her don't they?). After all, the reason she killed herself at the end was largely because she knew the freaks were dead

Peter Ragone Misty got trapped in hell not necessarily ended up there. She was pure and it's fitting that her death was a trial in hell during the Seven Wonders. Papa Legba actually mentioned he gives pure souls a chance (Nan). As for Maggie, I'm kinda bummed she didn't appear in the Freakshow tent. It would have been a nice touch seeing her escort Ma Petite or a quick cameo of reading a patron's fortune. She was a puppet, and totally redeemed herself at the end. She died, however, in a brutal fashion that even the freaks were horrified by. Except Desiree. I'd like to think her realization at the end helped her get into heaven.

While I found this ending to be "happy" (more bittersweet but still) originally... I've just been thinking lately, how long their happiness can actually last? Are they in this purgatory forever? Even if you enjoy performing, if you do it for ages it will get boring right? Also the other workers, don't they have their own dreams and lives they'd want to live and not just work for Elsa forever? Even if it is a job they enjoy etc... Can they even go anywhere else or are they just stuck in the freakshow forever? What do they do once they get bored or have enough... Do they come up with more performances, what if they run out of ideas? Does it matter what or how well they perform will the audience still come and enjoy it? If that's so does it even matter if you have talent with your performance? Sorry I know I'm thinking and rambling about this too much but I can't help but think this is really a curse in disguise, even tho I really want it to be a "happy" ending...
