This perfectly explains what Madison meant in Season 8 when she told Violet that she believed all his evil went into Michael..his spawned son with Violets mother. Because all you've heard about was tate killing and seeing him kill so reckless but it was hard for him in this scene to kill this dude. He has no true reason to be hesitant if it was. It is honestly scary the amount of girls who say they have a crush on Tate, he's a psychopath! it is not uncommon for women to be attracted to men who are violent... or/and insane, but it certainly does not make it right. My mum is a psychiatrist and has explained to me before, its a condition called hybristophilia, it is only really found to effect women, I think it has something to do with women having motherly instincts and believing they can cure or aid in helping men who suffer mental issues, there are cases of women marrying men with serious mental/behaviour problems and later being murdered.

Alex Elizabeth He's a well-written character, capable of great cruelty but also great love. His Jekyll-and-Hyde duality is intriguing. Over the course of the series he goes from looking his classmates in the eyes and shooting them to being unable to stab a kid while looking at him. So yes, I love Tate in all his memorable, complicated, terrifying, yet endearing glory.

But the psychopath thing is purely a fantasy, and it goes hand in hand with violet. You know, that fantasy of being in love with a psycho.
