yeah you get a real appreciation for what you are eating when you prep it yourself. it was a really enjoyable experience, including the hot springs right next door!
What a special experience! Hands on learning guided by pro with trivia talks during travel is nice for watching repeatedly. Thank you for sharing such a unique local and educational event! Katsuo no tataki was my top 3 favorite protein dish when I was G1 to G6.

it was a really nice trip and this was one of the highlights for me. it gave me a better appreciation for the fish and the food. I hope I get more chances for experiences like this in the future!
