Great Classic Book. Years ago,I was fortunate to secure a first printing as well. I have a few Early Knives very similar to that famous Eye’ knife from the same Early period . One in particular very similar minus the engraved eye’ on the Blade.

Very nice gesture to put the knife in the Moran museum. They should use this video or another you produce, to be part of the exhibit.

I love that you gifted the knife. I have a close friend that was related to Bill. I met Bill many times, as well as his "better half", His wife Margret. And have a deep understanding of how important He was in the knife making world, and of American Art. But!!!! Bladesmithing set aside... Bill was a Cool Man. In His life he sold knifes to people that lived where He did. Just regular people. And He sold knifes to Actors, Sly Stallone, and even foriegen Saudi Royalty. But My fondest memory is polishing off a bottle of Bourbon with him and a couple other people.

Awesome Travis, thank you! Wish that I'd shot the video while I still had access to both of the knives, but at least everyone gets to see nice clear color images of the antique knife from the cover of the book.
