Average Aufa EXACTLY what I was about to post!! He’s frickin’ amazing at language learning! AND... it’s totally possible for ANYONE of us too! I’m also learning Spanish, beginning at around the same time as Xiaoma. The difference is, he’s doing it all day long, which I’m not. I think anybody with his dedication and the right strategy, along with the courage to let it all out there, warts and all, can do it. So XiaomaNYC... keep doing your thing, you’re such an inspiration! I’m following along!

I think that the fact that he does it for multiple hours per day also helps a lot, I've been learning French for about two months and don't speak it nearly as well as he speaks Spanish because I only practice about 20min a day. A couple of years ago when I started learning English I got fairly good pretty quickly because I would watch English KZbin videos for a least 5 hours a day.

Don't blame yourself, blame the system. The system tells you it takes years to learn; you can't learn a new language past a certain age; you have to do this, you have to do that; yadda yadda yadda... which is why the system is literally crumbling as we speak. Todos deben agradecer a Dios por la corona por revelar la verdad de esto, y también por dejarnos saber qué sistemas están funcionando realmente. Take control of your own life and decide for yourself how long it's gonna take to do whatever it is you want to do cause ultimately it is up to you.

I definitely give him props -he's quite advanced for three weeks. Not sure I'd say fluent as there are times when he uses similar verbs like saber/conocer, and eschuchar/oír... I'd say he's probably speaks at the level of when I have heard friends who have taken about two semesters of Spanish in university. I think his talent is that he has an amazing aptitude for understanding spoken language. I expect we'll be seeing videos of "Perfect Spanish" in the next month or so.

As a language learner, and a portuguese/spanish native speaker, saying that u r fluent is really pushing over the line, but thats pretty good for the time that he practiced, but now this brings me suspicion on how good is his chinese Nonetheless, nice video, just wanted to share my opinion

Yeah, he is not fluent. Although if he really did achieve a level like that in two weeks, that's very impressive! But no, not fluent. It's simply clickbait. Marketing 101!

HOLY SHIT!! Xiaoma is a language learning BEAST!! I'm so damn impressed! I'm a native Texan and learned Spanish as my 2nd of 5 languages I speak now (English, Spanish, Russian, German, and Czech). Your pronunciation and flow is amazing for just 3 weeks of study....you are a true inspiration for me with my own language learning journey (I'm juggling lessons in both Czech & Russian with different instructors via italki & Skype)...

Can I have some tips on learning Spanish. I just asked out this girl I have been talking too and her family is Spanish. Most of her family speaks English but her mom can't and I would love to talk to her as well as talk to them when they normally talk in Spanish.

ExpreSSpanish I’ve been studying Spanish for the last few months intensely. And I have seen much much improvement. And I can speak better than he can. But I wouldn’t dare claim to be fluent. Fluency is about more than speaking. It’s writing, listening, and having the ability to express yourself completely. I still consider myself a beginner (almost intermediate).... I just don’t see how this is encouraging to learners. They’re gonna see their failure to be at fluency within a month and then just give up
