WOW Howard Hill, a legend of film and of the sport. I doubt there will be another truly traditional archer like him.

Why don't people understand that hunting is a way of life for a lot of people? Do you think that eating ground beef from taco bell makes you better than someone who kills their own?

Howard Hill appeared in a fascinating short film 'Deep Sea Fishing' with his friend actor Errol Flynn... both legends and sadly missed.Thanks for the posting from Down Under.

This is from the Howard Hill Video Tembo. You give no credit for that. Howard and Craig Ekin would not approve.

Interesting he could shoot right or left handed. Anybody catch that final shot in the clip at the skeet clay was left handed...
@ronbloomberg5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the film must have been reversed.
@-killemquietly5 жыл бұрын
Claude Herbert No, I researched it after seeing this clip. Actually he was left eye dominant and did shoot left-handed on occasion. He said in one of his books by the time he figured out he was left eye dominant, he was already shooting dimes out of the air, So he figured good enough why switch. But he was known to shoot left-handed quite occasionally. He was a bow maker also so he probably had to test shoot left-handed bows quite often as well.

just because some things i said are strange dosent mean they are wrong (simply unacceptable), and actualy you didnt made any question, it was just a discution over theories,(i suppose), everyone is afraid of unknown wich is death and what could happen afterlife, you cant say what it's all about, neither i, none can, could or will, wish you a good and virtuous life!

Sorry, I don't understand your question - you should rephrase it. But Homo sapiens and H. neanderthalensis were two different species, if you mean that.

Howard Hill shot once an elephant with a 100 lbs longbow. No compound but just ordinary longbow drawing 100 lbs.
@yugen3 жыл бұрын
By the time the first compound came out, Howard was in his late 60's. I doubt he would have ever used one.

The man i hunt with met howard hill, howard gave him 8 broad heads that he used, they are bowlo. I now have them, they have been passed on to me. I don't believe i deserve them, nor do i know there true value, but i do know they were towards, so i must not use them.

If you knew that in beforehand, why did you write then your statement?
@Balamutus300012 жыл бұрын
right your majesty, i did say we are not destroying, actually,echologic disasters, as i said, only makes earth hostile place for who wants a good life, odd statement ? i'd rather say unacceptable for ppl who realized they dont know why they try to acomplish as much as possible in life,
@pumile081212 жыл бұрын
People living in deserts don't have more sweat pores and people living in cold regions are not smaller or have smaller body appendices. You just have to give your body the time, wear the right clothes and behave like the natives and you will feel as good or bad as they do! But stating that we humans are different form each other and evolved different traits depending on where we are living is actually racist!
@Balamutus300012 жыл бұрын
i agree that everyone has the right to have a good life,but what common ppl do it's stil nothing compared to echologic disasters done by companies of wich aim is simply to make money, i want to say that what we are now, our society, is the result of thousands years of greed for wealth and power

I'm actually more angry about someone intercutting a post-2010 shot of guitar fingerpicking into a 1930s film than all that dribble this Radu guy is spouting. If this were a real social situation the conversation would just move elsewhere leaving the poor troll all alone.
@caseysmith5443 жыл бұрын
I was mad about that too. Maybe they had to cut out an entire section of Howard Hill field starting the field dressing his first Buffalo on that hunt so it had to get cut out?
@pumile081212 жыл бұрын
Don't "dude" me. And I remember what you wrote --> "the earth will not exist for ever, what's the diference if it will end now or in 1 milion years ? we are not destroying the earth" What an odd statement... Why don't you run amok, why do you pay in shops, why do you brake at a red street light? It matters what each one of us is doing, so don't say we can do what ever we want, because at the end our world will vanish anyway!!
@huyked12 жыл бұрын
You know, it makes me feel so bad for the animals, being shot like that 1:57. But I do eat meat, I'm just saying. It also makes me think of the distant future, where we think, I wish I could see it, with all its advances. But then, I bet the ones in the future, with all the crowding of the human population (unless regulated by the food supply), will look back into the past and think, wow, I wish I was in the past (our present), where land and wildlife was plentiful.
@Balamutus300012 жыл бұрын
if this is racism than how can be considered the diference between sapiens and neanderthal ?

No, evolution is NOT a fact - it is a theory, nothing else! If you would know about science, then you would know that.
@donaldmack23075 жыл бұрын
Scientific “theory” is as good as fact. Layman “theory” is not.
@Balamutus300012 жыл бұрын
i belive that a man who lives at north and is more resistant to cold and one who lives near equator will be more resistant at high temperature is a fact of evolution, scientists said science is a "tool" to understanding the things, i think this tool only leads to false
@pumile081212 жыл бұрын
Sorry to say that again, but evolution is not a fact! There are some natural laws that nobody can deny and where no argumentation is needed, like gravity. That is a fact! What you are talking about is acclimatisation, (almost) everybody can get used to live in the Sahara or in Greenland or up to 4000 m above sea-level - it just takes a while, but not more than a lifetime and therefore for sure hasn't anything to do with evolution.
@gunguy154112 жыл бұрын
By wildlife I think you mean there is no civilized humans on that land, correct? Because if that is the case, your statement is absurd and incorrect.
@pumile081212 жыл бұрын
No thanks, if your "stats" (=statistics??) are as wrong as your other comments, then it's not worth it to listen longer. You don't or cannot understand what it's all about and you have a strange view of the world. You sound like somebody being afraid of the unknown.And you actually never answered my questions! Live your life the way you want and think what you want - but don't ruin it for others and take care of other people and the environment.
