I left it all behind to pursue my dreams halfway around the world, and I prefer my current way of life, but it's nice to be able to come back to videos like this and experience this relaxing ambience like no other. I grew up in a neighborhood like this. Don't get me wrong. It's beautiful, nostalgic, and calming, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had a childhood there. But calling this of all things "the best city planning" is incredibly naive and shortsighted. There are a lot of flaws with these kinds of places that are not expressed in this video.

Your videos are super relaxing. I wanted to comment that, as a spaniard, I'm fascinated by the lack of sidewalks for a neighbourhood like this. Luckily there is low traffic. I love the peace and silence, but seems like a place kind of "hostile" for pedestrians.

It’s a bit all over the place with sidewalks, but generally, in neighborhoods like this without sidewalks, the speed limits a very low and the neighborhoods very cautious and watchful. They are safe places to walk. However, at the very end of the video where I walk across a busy road to access the lake, it is NOT safe to walk there, even with the sidewalks.

That's because in America, money and education move a certain way. There's no loitering, you barely see people. We're making our money, coming home and getting the rest we need. Now, in new Masterplan communities, you will see more sidewalks. This is old money here in this video. Considered upper middle class. I live in Texas, where we have old and plenty New Money. The new Money looks different from this. You'll see more people, more sidewalks, but still a very clean, quiet, organized community.

Greetings! You're hearing the sounds of US Highway 64, which spans the entire width of the United States, along with Lake Pine Drive and SW Cary Parkway. 99.9% of all my walks are through highly populated cities, but are carefully mapped to avoid the busier areas that are usually nearby. In this particular walk, the landscape lacks hills to block the sounds, allowing some ambient noise to filter through. Have aa look at the map in the description.

I film places like this selectively for the relaxing vibes, but the USA is very diverse and has bustling urban areas, quiet rural areas with house miles apart from each other and everything between.
