0:50 was Tie Domi throwing water at a fan who was heckling him. I remember watching it on tv. Domi actually kept himself relatively reserved. Tie Domi is third all time in penalty minutes and first in number of fights. The tradition of throwing an Octopus on the ice dates back decades in Detroit. In 1952 it took 8 wins to win the Stanley Cup and Detroit swept both the Leafs and Habs in four games each to win the Cup. So some guy thought it would be cool to throw an octopus on the ice and it somehow became a thing.
