Your a professional with asphalt. You owe no explanation on why you do something. You know what your doing your guys know what's going on so no problem. By the way you and your sons and workers always knock asphalting out of the park. Your creative with your work congratulations on your newest equipment I enjoyed watching how far the asphalt industry has come. Im a retired truck driver and always enjoyed a fresh paved road. That mat looks nice! The best operators were once laborers.

0:53 If only more people had that mindset and conducted themselves in the same manner. Don’t explain yourself or your thought or feelings or words or actions. The only time one should is when when passing knowledge or telling a story. Other than that, people need to mind their own business.

Beautifully said by a legend, always think of the ground guys or your not a good operator, you my friend are and operator and more!!!

I've always said that my self, "think about the guys with the shovels and rakes." I've run excavator for 15 years for the DOT and were always changing pipes, putting in catch basins, ditching, and paving, etc. I think I've gotten to be a better operator because I was once that guy with the shovel and rake breaking my back because the operator didn't care about the laborer, and I'm always think of how I can do it better so they don't have to work as hard.

Great response. Not everyone could have done what you did. As you well know, the sides can lock up when you are making such a sharp turn. The finished result shows that you know what you are doing. Well done and remeber that you don't have to explain yourself because the finished result speaks for itself.

When you're the GOAT you don't have to explain why you took the shot. You make the bucket and walk off with the win yelling NEXT!!

He’s right… our opinions don’t matter it’s his job site…. Also this is the internet… Looking at the video in my personal opinion (which doesn’t make it right or wrong)… The paver was too big to do a traditional pull out to the road from the parking pad The paver he claims is almost 20ft and he had a 22 wide road. That’s only 11ft to center. So I see where he is coming from, although I gotta call out “less hand work”… just own it and say it’s more hand work but considering the situation it was what we had to do… Great videos, I always enjoy watching them!

This is a message for the haters. Leave the man alone lol. Look at how clean he keeps his equipment and how clean he cut that corner. The man is a boss!

I have a few operators that hook in like that when we are doing similar jobs it deff saves the shovel and esp the rakemans back much appreciated by the laborers to say the least !!

He truned out of the box without bumping the edge perfectly and cut in the Conor so the guys could shovel just a little triangle and he didn't have to stop and pick up he was on a roll black top hot let's gooo in my opinion perfect me and my buddy used to try that all the time I'd have to watch the track and keep checking the auger 🚜👍👍

I good paver operator always pulls things to make it easier for the men on the ground ! In the paver world they say “there’s 1,000 ways to skin a cat “ which means there’s plenty of ways to pull a job nobody does it the same good work!

Always use the machines to make it easier on the men, my foreman will get that paver in unheard of spots or the skid steer to avoid us shoveling and wheeling
