Is disorientated actually a word? It strikes me as being one of those generally misunderstood words such as "interpretate"

Disorientated is the actual word, like many others it has been simplified for the US brain. And also interpretate isnt a word, its interpret. We all know interpretation/misinterpretation are words.....no offense meant.

The problem with that is it's much the same for the first few sketches of that, and only then does he start to vary it, and expand it. It's the Fast Show template. And you need to see them all to get the effect. It's a story that slowly builds. How about Charles & Sheridan? Maybe their compilation, but especially the 40-45 Years sketch.

You're so sharp, and totally get our dry and subtle and surreal stuff like no other foreigner I've encountered. An absolute top 10 film of mine is Hot Fuzz. I was staggered how your reactions were exactly as mine were, and still are. Nothing important got past you, although second time around you'll see even more. There's one I remember when an upper class English man hit a working class English man and killed him, the defence used in court was "I'm sorry your honour but I was so very intoxicated with alcohol at the time" and he was allowed to go free the judge understood the defence argument totally, it could happen to anyone 😅

You sort of enjoyed it..But the British humour in these Mr Cholmondley warner sketches are mainly subtle cultural ones,so,can sometimes be hard to fully appreciate. Like the speech used by the criminal,which is RADA cockney..(posh actors trying to talk lhow they believe the working classes do).."Give us your perishing Lolly"..,as well as class references/the policeman giving the chunky desperado a clip around the ear,which was always a solution to any crime given by people of that generation.

There a comedian I don't think you've reacted to yet called Richard Herring, he used to be in a comedy duo with Stewart Lee who you have reacted to called Lee and Herring, both very funny guys, he has a successful podcast which is also filmed and on YT called 'Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast' and the acronym of it is a running joke every week as it doesn't work, which always makes me chuckle, "Or as the cool kids cool it Rerehellasteppa", a lot of your favourite UK comedians like Greg Davies have been guests, you should have a cheeky little peep in your own time one day just to see what you think.

Though method 1 is rendered ineffective if the assailant is a desperate Upper-Class Cad & Bounder who has fallen on hard times having frittered the family fortune away in the Casinos of Monte Carlo and the Fleshpots of Paris don't y'know!

Your Majesty. Greetings from the UK. If you like Harry Enfield you will like the Channel 4 show The Windsors in which Harry Enfield plays a spoof version of the then Prince Charles now The King. The show sends up The Royal family and a number of weird scenarios. I hope you can see it in the US. It also has Mr Trump in a parody of himself.
