They stood trial at the Old Baily in 2019, they were cleared of the hijacking charges but found guilty of affray..they were sentenced in January 2020 to 32 months, 31 months and the lesser two got 16 months...they faced a Home Office investigation into their immigration status...outcome unknown.

The fact that they threatened the crew and took over the ship was sufficient to trigger the response by the SBS. Trying to play with someone else's boat is a dangerous game.

In my thinking/opinion, they most likely wanted to just to get into Britain and play the system. They just used a different tactic in doing so, which worked. The 'coming quietly' thing when the Forces showed up. Many people are even using commercial airlines; then are getting rid of their documents, either on the aircraft in the toilet or in the airport toilets. Ryanair has even come out and said this is what is happening over in Ireland at the moment, and are trying to sort it out. It is definitely questionable of the people's flying on the aircraft in question that came from a safe country as one stated from the company (port of call thing). The company has put in place, or is putting in place that taking photographs or images of the peoples passports before they board to combat it. Many people on the left are in uproar about this, especially the solicitors that can make a profit out of them. Something is definitely going on with a kind of takeover by a certain demographic of people's. Basically you could say they are playing on people's emotions, which the left only seems to use instead of logic and common sense. Especially when many to most are not savoury characters that are wanting to stay.

They were already on the cargo ship they were stowaways, the Four stowaways have been jailed after they ran amok on a container ship as it navigated the world's busiest shipping lanes. The men, from Nigeria and Liberia, waved metal poles and threw faeces and urine after being found hiding on the vessel in December 2018.

Their intent was to hijack the ship and sail it off the British coast where they wouuld claim "asylum", same sort of idea as the people who try to sneak in thru containers and such. They knew that even though they are "hijackers" British law would likely not allow for them to be simply deported and sent "home" to Nigeria but for that to work they had to get "dry feet" on UK soil before being arrested.
