Especially bc Max and CL know each other from the start of their senior race careers and have a mutual respect for each other. Totally different like between Max and Lewis.

Its honestly so embarrassing how Ferarri won't even admit how much they themselves are screwing up and have let their drivers, mainly Charles, just take the heat. Charles deserves better and should just leave ASAP.

He can’t really leave, where would he even go realistically. Best bet is to stick with it and build that team around himself which shouldn’t be too difficult as Ferrari see Charles as their golden boy

@@TheNotoriousB.E.N. Working on you own team is the only option. Plus Charles needs to be sure like Carlos when Ferrari makes strategic calls. The way Carlos reacted to Ferrari in British GP made him win the race by going against them. We all are aware of the famous dialogue of Carlos "Stop Inventing".

What seems to be an ongoing theme is that Ferrari only want Italians to work for them. They don't really hire people from other teams if they are not Italian. In the time of Ross Brawn and Sean Todt this was different and the team was more succesful.

1:22 that’s a big ask for modern day Grand Prix racing. If you’re lookin for parity, Nascar is currently having the best season of the 21st century with 16 different winners in 26 races. Indycar does have far better points system and with 2 races to go there’s 5 drivers who could win it all. Maybe next year could be a true title fight if Ferrari fix their strategy issues and Mercedes looks for a completely new car philosophy, but even that’s still a big ask

for me its either a software problem, or a people problem. The tools ferrari use aren't working or the people just aren't good enough

Mattia Binotto once said while talking to Ted Kravitz, who usually does TED NOTEBOOK F1, that "we are not looking at driver's championship but we are focused on constructors title". By what he said it clearly states he is looking forward to finish at P2 from P3 since P1 is highly unlikely now. Since finishing a place higher in constructors title brings in more money for the whole team. WDC title has Prestige but WCC has Money. I think he said before the French GP ,don't remember exactly.

Its been like that for more than 7 years, Mercedes winning all driver- and constructorchampionships. Already at the beginning at the season you knew how it was going to end. Okay now it kinda looks alike but this total domination is only the case this year. Next year it actually might be three teams fighting for the title, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes.

I miss passion and winning hunger of Maurizio Arrivabene. For some reason his passion was not as team principal. Remember the short movie Ferrari made few years ago? Something about only victory is enough.

I'd say the first issue with Ferrari is that they want Italian staff in key positions, most F1 analysts know this has been a trend in the last years, there are more skilled persons around but they aren't Italian so they're not promoted to the key roles that could make a difference. However I cannot blame Ferrari for not expecting to be the top team before the start of the year, it's true that in comparison to previous years you would've expected them to make a leap to get closer to the top two teams but rarely do you see a team come out of nowhere and be dominant... although the change in rules and car design should've been a good hint that this was a possibility. Afterwards, the screw ups are just sad to see, especially from pit crews which you assume train a lot to get it right and still fail to do it as quickly as other teams when it matters most. You can always buy the F1 Manager 2022 game to get a feel for what it's like to try to make a plan and adapt your strategy on the go and while it doesn't seem easily you need assertive people that aren't afraid to change from what they had in mind originally, especially with all the data they have... I'm sure you and I couldn't do a worst job to be honest!

I think they shouldve stayed with Maurizio Arrivabene, he was always very passionate and with a true raceheart. He wasnt perfect but better than Binotto.

Yeah man… this is nothing new. When Ferrari was successful (Schumi era), it was only because outside people came in and ran Ferrari properly (Ross Brawn being a big component of this). It’s really sad to watch sometimes. If Mercedes management took over Ferrari, the team would probably improve rapidly, which shows it’s a MANAGEMENT/CULTURE ISSUE!! FFS FERRARI GET IT THROUGH YOUR DAMN HEADS

if you watch charles' onboards, he does talk to the team and have his own opinions too. they just aren't broadcasted as much because he isn't as quotable.
