I only just came across this video today, 2 years after you did it, but these weren't even the worst! One of the worst ever was in South Africa, at Kayalami in 1977. The driver, Tom Pryce, and a marshall called Frederick Jansen Van Vuuren died when Van Vuuren and another marshall had gone to the aid of Renzo Zorzi, as his car had caught on fire and he was struggling to get out of the car as he couldn't detach an oxygen pipe. Zorzi had stopped on the opposite side of a crest of a hill, and so, when the two Marshalls ran across the track to help put out the fire, drivers who were racing on track couldn't see over the hill... Tom Pryce was one of those drivers and he hit Van Vuuren at 170mph... Van Vuuren was carrying a 40lbs (18kg) Fire Extinguisher, and when he was hit by Pryce, the Fire Extinguisher his Pryce in the head, pretty much killing him instantly... as for Van Vuuren, luckily he died on impact, because his body was absolutely mutilated by the hit. It was absolutely horrendous, and as a former combat medic, even I winced on seeing it for the first time
