About the flags, most of the Europeans cant recognize all state flags, but the point is that its one and only USA that they can recognize, its the same question for you? Can you recognize all state flags in Germany ?!
@oLawlieto Жыл бұрын
I mean not even 50% of the people in any country would know all their state/region flags/crests. Knowing about national flags is a lot more important, you don't have to know every country but at least 60% of the 193 UN recognized ones.
@angyliv8040 Жыл бұрын
Its not the same country flags as the flags of the states in one country. The important are the countries not de separation within a country. In spain we akso have 17 states and tao city states. I recognize and know them but its not so important in the internacional sphera.

A lot of European countries have more than 1 native languages. For instance.. France has French, Bretonese, Occitan, Corsican and Alsacian. Sweden.. Has Swedish, Finnish, Meänkieli, Saami, Elfdalian, Gutnish and Romanes speakers. Even the UK has many different languages. English, Scots, Welsh, Gáidhlig, Manx, Cornish, Ulster Irish....So sometimes it is just easier to send it in one of the most common language of Europe (Either English, French, German or Russian) Most europeans have some sort of schooling in English. Therefor English becomes popular.

The video shows the winner with the flag in the heart, where it was hosted (city and country) and the runner up to the right, though the Norwegian runner up in 1996 actually sounded a lot like the Irish winner although it was in Norwegian. The backing dancers in Norway´s entry in 2009 is a dance group performing a dance inspired from Norwegian folk culture called "Hallingdans".
@sarahenchanted2 жыл бұрын
- so ironically in 1990, the background singers were/are a group from Slovenia (or Yugoslavia at the time) that participated in 1975 (I actually adore that song too) - 1995's entry did have singing but I think SchlagerLucas (understandably) chose to show the violin part bc it's kind of the highlight of the song - I don't think the big crowds started up until the early/mid 2000s since they did the show in concert halls instead of stadiums like they do now - in 2004 during the UK commentary Terry Wogan would call Ruslana Zena Warrior princess lmaooo -Now listen... Fairytale is a whole bop and watch the whole performance and the win will make sense (plus countries that normally don't give Norway 10 or 12 points did in 2009, ie the Balkans) - Satellite likely won because it was a huge hit in Europe before the contest so I get why it did (I probably would've picked Romania, Turkey, or Greece to win that year but it is what it is) - In defense of the use of English - I don't disagree with preferring songs that are in native languages/not English but I think it really depends on the song and in the age of streaming and all that I get why they tend to lean in that direction from a money standpoint

The 2023 Eurovision isn't going to be in either Germany or London. It will be held in Liverpool. UK (not England) were runners up in 2022, so Eurovision awarded it the show as winners, Ukraine, couldn't host it. This will be the ninth time the UK has been the host. Previously, it has been held in London (four times), Edinburgh, Brighton, Harrogate, and most recently in Birmingham in 1998.

Agreed on the low waist jeans. Although more in general rather than on other people. I can't wear them. For some reason I have wider hips, and even when I lose weight my behind is proportionately larger on my otherwise small frame than it is on most guys so they just never sit right on me. Besides of you're stuck with a wider set hips the last thing you want to do is lose those pumpkin cheeks. No behind and wide hips would be a double negative. 👁️ Really grates on me though that every clip seems to show the less pivotal parts of Stefania. That instrument drop part with the dancing is incredible. The ovcalist guy really was the bread and butter all in one of that perfprmance.though. didn't care for the rap part as much. You should check out Rona Nishliu's Suus if you want something different. It was flat out terrifying when I saw it. Hell of a voice though.
