I've lived in Australia all my life and have never surfed. Love this country though. You'll need atleast 3 months to see some of the nice places here. You will never see all unless you move here.

Regardless of American ignorance of the metric system, any average conceals the vast range of population density in Australia.

The Economist's Global Liveability Index has named Adelaide as Australia's most liveable city in 2021 and the world's third most liveable city. This however changes each year. It's called the festival state and actually has 4 mild seasons and the driest state 68oF today and its winter. It is easy to get around, beautiful beaches for swimming, sunning or surfing. Great wineries, nice hills, great transport especially trains, 9 mins to the city for me, friendly locals, extended shopping hours, great premier, cricket, concerts, festivals just to name a few.

It was tied with Perth this year. 3rd in Australia and 12th overall.

Perth or Brisbane best places to live in Aus and I've lived in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin and Brisbane, although the youth crime in Brisbane is becoming a bit much. I'm a local Aussie, that's never surfed a day in my life lol, but I can ski on one ski and hydroslide (knee board) like a maniac.

Read any Murdoch rage and youth crime is the worst in whatever city it is published in.

You cannot possibly be inspired by such a short video made by someone who gets his facts out of a travel brochure and even gets some of those wrong ,3 people per square metre, are you kidding me ? Anyone interested in visiting us should log on to all the websites for the states and territories plus the Australian national website for accurate information then plan their trip accordingly, especially if you have limited time , because Australia is much much more than the Opera house and The Sydney harbour Bridge ,and would take months to explore properly .

It's very stereotypical to say we all know how to surf. I'm 15 minutes away from the beach on the NSW Central Coast, even tho i don't mind the beach to sit on but 9 outta 10 times i won't go into the water. I watched Jaws too many times & i hava huge phobia of going into the water. To say that there's no sharks in the same body of water u are swimming in is really naive. If course sharks are swimming around us & yes the odds of being taken by a shark is low but in the past few years shark attacks have been on the rise, even in states u rarely hear of shark attacks like Victoria. Whether the fact of being locked up & imprisoned in our homes during covid saw nobody at the beach swimming, surfing & fishing meant that shark food was coming closer to shore which meant sharks were coming in closer with them. Whatever the reason i prefer to stay outta the water

Victoria is the best no humidity ...4 seasons...forests,beaches in summer ,winter is a bit cold 14 or 15 16 celcius some winter days get to 18 even 20 celcius in Melbourne snow in mountains..only 4 months then warms up in spring ..l can ride my dirt bike every day all year in big forests.most days only see 3 other riders sometimes just me and the kangaroos...Very peaceful...l don't push my luck and ride past the limits as no one to find me for a day until search party finds you becouse you didn't return .we help each other out.if someone needs help.

3 people per square metre!! Who is he kidding? 3 people per square kilometre maybe. Also, i don't surf. I have a 2 hour drive just to get to the coast, let alone a surf beach. People who live near the coast probably surf, but not all of them. A lot actually go fishing.
@joandsarah77 Жыл бұрын
Per square meter. 🤦♀ It's per square Kilometer. This is the second time I heard this, come on people think before you say such things. A meter is only 39 1/2 inches.
@Laconic-ws4bz Жыл бұрын
The best places to live are not the cities but the country towns. Most cities are the same the world over being overcrowded, noisy and full of ugly suburbs. There was no mention of the white Australia policy which was racist. The Sydney Opera House and the harbour bridge pale in significance compared to the Australian bush and countryside as they are just man made.
