There was a Library in Liverpool burned down in the rioting and it was a community learning centre too. They raised £100K to restore what was damaged and get new books and they got a phone call from a government official in New Zealand asking if they could help and let them know what was needed and they would send it. That is a heart-warming act too. ❤ This video was amazing and those guys deserve a peace prize ❤❤❤

Thats amazing but it should have never been burned down in the first place, they said they were rioting to help the children and british people. Eventhough, that library educated the children and gave back to the community. They also destroyed a mosque that used to fundraise and feed the homeless. Its all good being positive about people coming together after it but we still need to acknowledge how evil the acts were. They took advantage of the death of three kids to be racist and islamophobic all in the name of “ we are saving our kids”

It was so sad seeing what happened to our Library. I always took my kids there when they were young. It's such an important resource. They also smashed up some shops as well, people just trying to run a business and earn a living. I was happy when I found out about the funds raised. It really restores faith in humanity.

JJ as someone from the UK thank you for being so sensitive on this and avoiding it for as long as you could but taking an opportunity to find some positivity in this. Watching your reaction filled my heart and also made me tear up ❤ I asked my Dad what would Granddad (his father) make of this. Would he be scared. My Granddad was a Spanish refuge that fled the Spanish civil war. He saw some terrible things committed by Franco Fascists. I don't even want to comment what he saw. Granddad stayed and became a citizen here when he married my Welsh ancestry Grandma and settled in Bristol. My Dad said to me that Granddad called Britain a home and knows what the real Britain is. He would say that hate will always lose and be put back in its box. He suffered racism from a small minority but he knew that the vast majority are tolerant, loving, caring and understanding people. So my Dad said, no, Granddad wouldn't be scared because hate always loses. Thank you for doing this.

Hate always loses because good will always triumph over evil. Love is the most powerful force in the world. Love in all its forms from romantic love to brotherly and sisterly love to love for community, fellow humans and this planet, our home is beautiful beyond words. Love is a symphony of souls that binds us and the natural world together. Yes. Taken by surprise by a co-ordinated attack .It was financed and ready to go. A lot of low-life locals took the chance to loot and show off but the hard core were bussed in. Once people realised it was a spontaneous coming together and it quashed them. I think Liverpool was the turning point. Bad choice of city. I was in Newcastle, West Road was lined both sides, not a fascist showed up.

Just a quick note to clarify. If was WRONGLY claimed the knife attacker was a muslim migrant. He is 17 years old born in Wales and is christian. So sad that a small group of society hijacked such an awful, sad event for their own I don't even know what, no one gained anything from it. I'm glad it has highlighted that the majority of our country/ies are still good decent humans. Thanks for spreading this message rather than focusing on the hate and anger.🤍 And RIP to those that lost their lives. ✨

Thank you so much for highlighting this my friend 🙏 THIS is what Great Britain is really about. For a couple of days I was beginning to feel ashamed of my country and the arrogant, twisted, bitter, ignorant bigots destroying our beautiful reputation as an inclusive, multicultural nation. The bravery of Imam, Adam Kelwick, crossing the street to offer food and friendship to those who would have done him harm in other circumstances was absolutely inspirational. This man needs a medal. The really sickening part of all this is that focus was taken from the murdered little girls and their grieving families. May those little angels rest in peace 🙏

I lived in a 'Muslim' area of Manchester for a while, I'm 'White British' on every government form, all I found there were good neighbors with traditional family values, they look out for each other and they looked out for me. If you begin with respect you receive it back. I lived in a house share with a couple of Muslim lads so I stopped eating pork, out of respect not because they asked, fasted with them for Ramadan and shared meals with them and their families at Eid, I was made to feel so welcome...good people!

Thank you for commenting this, in the midst of all this madness alot of white people obviously group together all muslims as being terrorists etc and as a result many muslims have also grouped together all white people as being racist. At the end of the day, most people are good people. Alot of the riots happened in places where there are barely any immigrants or muslims, people are just misguided. However, the places with the most immigrants and muslims are the places that have been the most peaceful. In most places people from all backgrounds get along. I would rather live in a multicultural area than an area where everyone looks the same and has the same beliefs

I love my fellow Brits they are awesome! I live in England but am from Glasgow in Scotland, which is a very multicultural city and I have never known life any other way, thank God! My parents raised us to be kind to all our neighbours no matter their race, religion or nationality. For me I just cannot get my head around such hatred and vitriol. My neighbours, class mates and friends were Sikh, Hindu, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Protestants, Jehovas Witnesses... You name it my city has people of every walk of life. For the far right to cause such fear and damage is disgusting and to weaponise the murder of three innocent children is lower than a snakes belly. To blame a whole community, based on a lie is bad enough, but why is it every other Muslim in their view responsible for the act of one person? Not that the person responsible was a Muslim or an asylum seeker, but even if he was, how does that make millions of Muslims in the UK responsible? Make it make sense. It was just used as an excuse to spew their hatred and racist, bigoted views. After the first riot, the community pulled together and did a massive clean up and repair of damage caused by these fools. That's British people! That's the British spirit! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 To all the counter protesters, well done, love 💗 always trumps hate! Your reaction was genuine and moving and made me tear up at how beautiful humanity can be, and now it can touch the human spirit and reduce us to tears. 100 further riots were planned. None of them have happened. In Brighton, eight rioters turned up and begged the police to protect them, even though the massive crowd was peaceful. They were taken to the station in a police van, so they could catch trains home. At the station, they were greeted by drag Queens and a samba band. Everywhere that violence was threatened, good people filled the streets. A driver said online that he would drive any Muslim to his local Mosque, so they were safe. A woman posted to say she had been afraid to go out of her house, because trouble was expected. Then her street filled with anti-fascism protesters and she was able to live her life as normal. Thanks for focusing on the hope, not the hate. Racists here are a small minority and most of us are willing to do all we can, within the law and ethics, to protect people from them. @@WinstonSmith19847 Yes, but also old people who, contrary to popular opinion, are often very tolerant because they've seen it all before. It's always had a liberal loucheness. Oswald Moseley avoided Brighton in the 30s with his Blackshirt marches. He went to Worthing instead but wasn't exactly welcomed there. Full of retired military men who objected to Worthing being characterised as 'full of communist fifth columnists'.

You have such a kind heart and in todays world, it is so refreshing. Thank you for being you. ❤ Edit to add: Our country needs to take notes from this. America needs massive change and it starts with US, its citizens, but sadly as long as certain cults remain, I do not see that happening any time soon. 😢

Thank you for seeing the whole picture & realising that the thugs who were rioting do not represent the vast majority of us. Where I live we have a long history of welcoming people who were fleeing persecution (dating back to the 14th century). Love will always beat Hate ♥️

I spent a number of years working with minority communities both in the UK and in places like Pakistan and Bangladesh ,and what I discoved is that they are mostly just like the rest of us. They want to get on and do the best they can for their families, and the country they live in. Those who think differently are always a very small minority who are often driven by hatred and anger. We all need to get through to these people.

Hate won't win! As a white practicing pagan here in the UK i can say i don't care what colour your skin is, what god/gods you do or don't worship, sexuality, gender, or whether you were born here or not. we are all the same brothers and sisters. i can also say 99% of all Muslim people i have ever met have been kind and generous people and I'm proud to call some my friends. Spread Love Not Hate ❤

Love ya, JJ, stay well and thanks for a beautiful video. x

l was part of the Bristol counter protest. The racists and far right always claim to be the "silent majority", but they are not. Most of the British are decent and good people, sometimes you must stand up for what you believe in, and we stood up to the thugs.

Glad you felt positive vibes from this news item... In 2 years time, it will be the 90 year anniversary, of the notorious Battle of Cable Street in London's East End. KZbin has a number of videos about this, though you may not want to show them on the channel they could be interesting to watch, particularly in light of what we know came along in 1939. The one video I thought covered a lot of ground in just over 9 mins. showing actual footage was: The Battle of Cable Street, Sunday 4th of October 1936. The parallels with recent events here are scary and shockingly similar. BTW Hope you have recovered JJ? I expect that mug of yours saw some action yesterday. I mean just tea or coffee!😀
