Akala’s FITBs are amazing but they’re straight knowledge. Not much breakdown required. He wasn’t exaggerating btw. He actually does lecture at Oxford 🤯 If you’re looking for bars to break down then Avelino did a fire in the booth with Wretch 32 that is legendary. Bar after bar every single line. Listening to this I appreciate how some words or phrases can only really be picked up by people from the UK. However, you understood and broke down the whole video pretty well despite you having issues with his accent. In your defence, he raps pretty quick at times for us lot too which is why it's an absolute pleasure listening to his FITB over and over again

I might be wrong but I always thought that Charlie might have distorted the mic in that part to show off Akalas skill a bit and show that he wouldn't get thrown off by it, the same with the sudden beat changes, that would throw a lot of rappers off if they weren't expecting it, Akala switches his flow in perfect timing with the beat changes.
