Not only does the entire crowd know ALL the words, but they know EVERY one of Freddie’s vocal nuances from the studio recording. Just astonishing.

Freddie can still control a crowd, even many years after he died. He is truly a legend. The love we feel for him brings tears to my eyes watching this. Has any other singer been able to produce a reaction like this? Green Day were waiting to go on stage and waited until the fans finished singing, out of respect for Queen.

Before the 2017 concert started music was played over the speakers to keep the crowd engaged and up the anticipation. There was nobody on stage. This was the enormous crowd’s instant reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody being played. How awesome a reaction! This song is in the UK’s DNA!, we ALL love it and can react like this, no matter what music is our preferred type. Love it! Thank you Joel.

Pretty much everyone in the UK knows every single word and every single note of Bohemian Rhapsody. It’s difficult to explain in words how massive this song was when it was released and still is. I was 19 and I was hooked there and then. Still here, loving Freddie and Queen, and enjoying watching a new generation finding their music. If you want a crowd to be entertained and sing before you start your concert, it’s the only song to play!

42 years after it's release, 26 years after Freddies demise and it's still going on. This crowd, or 95% of them, weren't even born when this came out, but know every single word, that's the power of music, well Queen music anyway. It's still happening now and will continue to do so, because of it's iconic status, along with Hey Jude this is a great sing-a-long.

I was there - Green Day were headlining a punk festival (officially 65,000 people), so the crowd had been lubricating their vocal cords for most of the afternoon. Green Day always play Bohemian Rhapsody 10 minutes before they come on stage, followed by Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones (complete with drunken pink bunny). For Bohemian Rhapsody, there is no one directing the crowd, and no words on the screens - just played over the sound system, so it's completely spontaneous. The same crowd sang along to Green Day for another two and a half hours, but I'd recommend 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' - the band starts playing and the crowd are half way through the song before the band start singing!

My wife and I were there singing along. Green day were headlining at the end of a great day of music… the stranglers, the dammed, stiff little fingers, rancid, gogol bordello, the hives to name just a few. A beautiful sunny day and such a great crowd. Everyone was so chill and friendly all day. Everyone was ready for green day and random songs were playing over the sound system as filler before the main gig. Then bohemian rhapsody came on and we all just spontaneously started singing. No prompts or planning It was so perfect. I see pearl jam, pixies and stereophonics are playing Hyde park this year. Very tempted to go again.

It's just extra music that these types of concerts play to keep the crowds occupied till the band comes on stage. It was totally spontaneous Queens music came on and the crowd began to sing. I can just imagine Freddy conducting from heaven sat on his cloud getting a massive boost of energy from the crowd as he did when he was with us. Excellent siging from the crowd just imagine that many people all knowing every single word to a song you wrote epic 🤔👍

I’ve seen a few other videos like this where this song was playing and the crowd started to sing along. Just goes to show that it’s arguably one of the all time greatest rock songs🤘🏼

That's the British for you so uptight and unemotional.....................(yeah right) 😀😀 ELO's Mr Blue Sky can have a similar effect but as you've seen from the other videos you've watched Freddy Mercury give a master class on how to lead an audience like a pied piper. Thanks again JP.

This was one of the greatest experiences ever. They played lots of songs leading up to Green Day coming on stage, to warm up the crowd. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE was singing. I was signing to total strangers and we all just had fun.

I had a massive grin on my face all the way through that- for 3 reasons. 1) Although I'd seen this severl times before, I still love the fact that EVERY WORD is there! 2) You listened to us, and went to find it. 2) Watching your reaction as you enjoyed it. Put that on over the tannoy at pretty much any crowd event in the UK and that's what will happen- and if it's a rock crowd, then for certain!

I expect they were playing songs over the speakers before the concert to keep the crowd entertained ......
