The theatre in which the Festival della Canzone Italiana takes place in Sanremo is an old cinema downtown. So it is not that big. It's not a large stadium, or a forum. People in the audience have only a little space around them, they are cramped in their seats. Clapping their hands and standing ovations are the only things they can do. And La rappresentante di lista's song maybe was not, on that night, understood in its deepest meaning. Quite profetic indeed: in fact it seems that the end of the world is quite near as it is said in the song.... on 24 Febr. Russia invaded Ukraine...

SanRemo festival last five nights, this is a mix of different performances. The songs are unreleased so there is a lot of curiosity and judgments about outfits, vocal skills and the song. The theatre is very small and most of the crowd are old, rich and famous. This 2022 edition it’s been winning by Mahmood and Blanco, Maneskin were special hosts the second night after and incredible year of international success after their win in 2021 edition with Zitti e buoni.

As others have said, Ariston theatre is pretty small so the audience can just sit and clap, not much more. Also, the songs are unreleased so they're listening to them for the first time and it needs time to connect with lyrics, music, presentation... About the outfits this video is just a "collage" of performances from different nights made by a fan or something. Have a nice day! 🙂☀️

@@GlobalGioReacts as someone who has been used to watch Sanremo every year I can guarantee you we are always extremely composed and attentive on the first two nights of the contest and the songs, even those which end up being bops are never received loudly. On the last night however you see people interacting with the singers, standing up, dancing. It is a completely different mood.
