It's a sad indictment of the state of rugby-youtube community that 90% of everything has to be South Africa related. There's more to catching up on rugby history than one team :( Sadly the loudest minority seem to just demand demand demand and get what they want, otherwise they become abusive to others in the comments.

I have more videos upcoming on other players outside of South Africa This week. If you have any other place you want me to check out please let me know as well and I’ll get to them.

Hey man, demand creates supply. Don't be angry that the world doesn't love your team as much. Obviously south Africans are watching more of these which makes the videos show up in your recommended videos

@@toma411 Absolute nonsense. Of course viewers want to see the Springboks!! It's not a minority whatever you mean by that. Content creators and viewers want the best, the exciting , the talented, the outstanding and that's what the Boks are. That's why there's a demand, who do you want reactions to; Australian rugby? 😬 No man don't have sour grapes

@@QSNgg Jeff lemme tell you. Immanuel "Manie" Libbok started his rugby career as an outside centre. He and Duhan van der Merwe attended the same school and played together. Manie took all their kicks. He was dead solid, young & brimming with confidence. Then after his Craven -week performances, the Bulls sought him and got him. Handré was there at the time. They turned him into a fullback/fly-half. But he was kinda depressed because they played crash ball rugby & he liked to run it. There was no one that could compliment his style besides W. Gelant. When Handré moved to France, he hoped that they'll back him & give him an opportunity. But they brought Morné Steyn back. COVID hit & players was given an opportunity to terminate their contracts & join other unions. He chose the Sharks. His Junior Boks teammate, Curwin Bosch was there and so he didn't get much game time. Then came the man, John Dobson coach of the Stormers who usually takes nobodies like Libbok and allows em to express themselves. He backed Manie as his first choice 10 & yes it didn't start great, taking into account how low his confidence was. But as the inaugural URC season progressed Manie got a lil better. And ended up winning it, was the top point scorer as well. This was in 2022. Now, the first choice first five-eighth for South Africa has been Handré Pollard since 2014. Elton Jantjies was second choice. Although Manie's exceptional performances in the URC, the SA coaching staff excluded him from their 2022 campaign. During that campaign, Handré got injured and Elton was involved in a scandal. Leaving the Boks with a fly-half issue going into the year end tour. They included Manie, Sacha as well but he played for the SA A side whereas Libbok was training with the senior squad. Damian Willemse was chosen as first choice 10 but his kicking off the tee is worse than Libbok's. So, their coach told Cheslin & Faf to kick for him. Manie made his debut against France playing 5 minutes, a match they lost. The following week they played against Italy where Libbok replaced Cheslin after he got injured. Willemse started as fly-half again. Libbok's first points for the Boks was a touchline conversion from a far out angle of Kurt-lee's try (you'll see it at the end of the Boks' "Most Feared Team in the World" video). He performed incredibly, accumulating about 30+ minutes on the pitch. The following week they played England where he got 18 minutes of game time. That was the last time the Boks played for the year, 2022! 8 months later, the 3 cap Libbok was given the ten jersey against the then veteran Aussie team, still inexperienced, he's green and he outplayed Quade Cooper!! Cooper spoke on it on the Behind The Ruck podcast not too long ago. That was the start of a new era for the Boks, he made em run it utilizing their deadly wings. He played against Argentina, second test as 10, played against the All Blacks in New Zealand from the bench, played against Argentina in a RWC warm up, against Wales & then against New Zealand, where he went toe-to-toe against Richie Mo'unga 🖤🖤 and he was magnificent, they put a record score on the men in black that night. Then he goes into the world cup as first choice 10 against Finn Russell. A plain test match rookie with no recognized fly-half to back him up. Manie's confidence still wasn't there, he was still recovering from his awful days at the Bulls & short stint with the Sharks. He should've declined Jacques Nienaber's offer to represent South Africa in late 22 and continued to build on his confidence at the Stormers. He would've been in a much better place now. He was only included because Elton messed up. I wish their coach release him because they have Sacha & Handré. Let Manie be & he'll regain his confidence at the Stormers especially now that he has racked up a bit of international test rugby. His 2 mates at the Stormers was in the Bok set up as well, they ain't no more and their lives continued. Manie is the most POLARIZING figure in SA Rugby! No other player elicits such contrasting opinions, reactions & emotions from "supporters" than him. Check out their rugby pages, he always generates the most comments and has become a gold mine for clicks! But thanks for checking him out Jeff!! Hope he'll regain some confidence, whatever is left, not for the Boks but for the Stormers lol. Check out Damian McKenzie from the All Blacks please and thanks in advance 🖤🖤, oh & he's another player who gets more "hate" than respect. Similar to Manie. But DMac's responses to a setback is always tops. I mean criticism is okay when it's done constructively whilst highlighting where a player is lacking, like Manie in place kicking, but no need to get personal, something the "supporters" can't grasp! But to each their own! Be well Jeff✌️💯
