Awesome reaction man; I had a very similar one when i saw these videos for the first time. Just amazing. Really hits you. Definitely primal as you say. Makes me feel a mixture of a deep longing and sadness for a loss of that primal connection to nature and a free lifestyle, and just pure elation.

well throat singing isn't only mongol. Turkic people and mongols share a common ancestor , both culture came from one. So it's normal to see similarities between them.

@Attis The Concep of "mongol" didn't exist when Tuvans come to be. Archeological evidence indicates a Scythian presence possibly as early as the 9th century BC. Tuva was conquered relatively easily by the succession of empires which swept across the region. It was held by various Turkic khanates like Huns,Göktürks etc until 1207. It was then ruled by Mongols until the 18th century, when it submitted to Manchu rule under the Qing dynasty. Slow Russian colonization during the 19th century led to progressive annexation of the region to Russia in the 20th century. Despite all that they have preserved their culture, language and tradition and so stayed as a *TURKIC* ethnic group. Throat singing is an ancient culture exited ammung many including Turks which intruduce it to Mongols like pretty much everything else.

Guy is a TUVA TURK, SINGING IN TUVAN TURKISH You mongols oughtta know your place and stop getting ideas because since 19th Chinggis Empire being called Mongol Empire you young generation mongols start to think it's an etnic mongol empire when it was a *TURKIC FEDERATION* like Gokturks and Huns before it. You share in our lands, our people, out food and our culture even the biggest foreign element in mongol language is Turkic Loanwords and in the end you asimilted under Turks today you are 3 million while Turks almost 100 times of it. Share in our culture and history like your anchestors did instead alienating yourselves and try to claim everything as your own.

It's unfathomable to them that Turks build many empires, ruled over 180 nations in 3 continent.. it's Wild for them so they think Turks claim everything Turk they do not factor in 16 great empires build by Turks all the land conquered by them it's too wast for their shortsighted imaginations. Are you one of them ? PS : Before the Hungarian conquest of the Carpathian Basin, the Hungarians were semi-nomadic and their culture was similar to other steppe peoples. According to Chronica Hungarorum, the Hungarians are descendants of the Huns, and came from the Asian parts of Scythia, and Turks share this Scythian origin with them.
