They got one thing wrong about Allemansrätten.. While they were correct that it's free to roam the Swedish nature. You can legally camp on other peoples property (ofc there are exclusions such as someones backyard or front), but you are allowed to roam free in peoples privately owned forests (not sure if you are allowed to shop down trees though), you are allowed to fish in the lakes of those privately owned properties etc etc.. As long as you make sure that you don't disrupt the nature..

Free to fish in 5 biggest lakes and around the coust. Otherwise u need to pay for a licence (fiskekort)

Maybe one reason why sweden did not part in the world wars is, the previous 1000 years... LOTS of wars. LOTS !! And with the small population. Especially during the 30 years war the population was diminished by 1/3. Our last war was 1814. Then 1.3 milion swedes went for america. Not that many left to stand up to german blitzkrieg. Better try to survive and help our neighbours as much as we could. Luckilly we were never attacked...

I live in the north of Sweden, (Luleå) it's not that cold as you might expect when they say it's sub arctic, it can be 30 degrees C in they summer, but then again could be -30 in the winter. And yea, as others have commented, they had it wrong about allemansrätten.

Sweden likes Finland the best! then Norway. But i guess it depends on your region. We like Denmark too there's a lot of history there though making it a bit weird at times.

Viking basicly meens people that live in the bay, Vik is bay in swedish. Varangian guard where swedish vikings at first then other joind later. The coffee ban was farmers revange on the higher up people when they forbid to do booze dont know if it was same all the times

Sweden use to take 30 000 imigrants / year and in 2017 we had 170 000.
