This is easily my favorite performance ever of O Holy Night. I love the unique arrangement, and Morissette raises it to a whole new level. When she sings the phrase "Christ is the Lord", it takes me to church and pierces my soul -- just what this song is intended to do and Mori does it like no other!!❤❤❤❤

Mori is originally from Cebu,Philippines. She's 27 year's old and married to Dave Lamar...who in his own right is a talented singer ,song writer and producer...Yes...Mori is tiny...she's 5' foot 1 inches tall but sings like a giant !!! The magic that is MORISSETTE AMON LAMAR, MORISSETTE and DAVE LAMAR her husband are members of the FAVOR CHURCH Christian community, she has many performances especially around Christmas and Easter time, she has a collaboration with her husband called MAN OF SORROWS which is just as enthralling, she can do the lot from rock to opera, she has a recent rock performance called EL BIMBO which is mind blowing, you do realise she is named after ALANIS MORISSETTE, it was her dad's favourite ARTIST when she was born, she was born on the 2nd of June 1996 in Cebu Philippines, she moved with her Mum to Manila at the age of 14 to pursue her music career which hasn't been all plain sailing, she's had to overcome many many obstacles to get to where she is today, can you believe she never ever won any talent contest that she entered but has gone on to be busiest and most successful ARTIST in the Philippines and you can see why, this LADY has worked her butt off to get to this moment in her life 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️

Of course, there is the pop version from Mariah, which Mori has performed many times, but this is my favourite, There is a Christmas Carol medley from Mori from the Favor church, with the songs O COME O COME EMMANUEL and O COME ALL YE FAITHFULL, just beautiful, when you subscribe to the favor church performances, then the donations go there, Mori and her husband Dave Lamar are involved in this church and making donations to keep everything going that the church provides, like a kindergarden and a kitchen for the poor, and many other thing's, not sure if you have seen COULD YOU BE MESSIAH the official Edition, just beautiful, those involved are mentioned at the beginning of the Video, plus the lyrics are blended in at the bottom if you want to sing with the beautiful Morissette Amon, the song comes from a Philippinen Christian Musical writen by Freddie Santos who sadly passed away in December 2020, the original singer and arranger Gary Valenciano who sang this back in 1990, rearranged it for Mori to sing as a tribute to Freddie, and Mori does not disappoint, making everyone cry who where there, watch Mori's face at the end and have the kleenex ready, then there is Morissette live Band session singing IMAGINE MORE a Disney song writen for Mori, then COLOUR EVERYWHERE a cover from a friend, WATERWALK a modern Gospel song from Mori and Co writers from Sony Christian Music Philippinens, absolutely beautiful, then comes a song in Tagalog called PAGBIGYANG MULI about asking for forgiveness for doing wrong, a cover from another friend, and last but not least POWER writen by KIKO SALAZAR for Mori to sing at the MISS UNIVERSE CONTEST 2022, she received the song a couple of days before the contest, later Mori wanted to record POWER but fell ill for some time and could not sing, but one afternoon Mori and Dave went into the studio at home, POWER FIRST TAKE after being ill, just out of this World, then the live Band Version, again fantastic, this Lady and the band 3rd Avenue are superb together, and a thanks to Dave for the camera work, a great videotogragher and musician. @@tazzznphilly in my humble opinion, I think this version was so much better than the Mariah Carey version she did. This version shows the type of person she is. The other version although very good, is just more voice play. This version is probably more difficult due to the extended back to back notes she sang. Doesn’t seem difficult but it really is. Mori does the Mariah version and has done it that way many times, now the Favor Church is the church where Mori and Dave go and support, Mori is 5 foot 2 and wears platform high heels most of the time on stage, Katrina Valarda is 4 foot 8 another great Philippino voice and good friend of Mori's, the singers in the Philippines cheer each other on, no cat fights there. 😊
