The first thing that people often think of when Queen is mentioned is Freddie Mercury. He was and still is regarded as the #1 male vocalist and frontman of all time. People have to remember that there were 3 other band members who were equally as talented and sometimes they get overlooked. Brian May is the guitarist and he's also considered one of the best. Roger Taylor is the drummer and he's an excellent one. His vocal range is insane! John Deacon is the bassist and he's created some of the most legendary riffs. Queen were voted the #1 live band of all time. You should dive into their massive catalog. They are LEGENDARY! 👑

Brian May (guitar, PhD in Astrophysics) still has that same hair it is just gray now and it looks great on him. There were 300,000 people at each of the Rock n Rio concerts. There are large TV screens placed around so the crowd can see what is going on onstage. I would do it, and boast for the rest of my life that I was there.

O Queen foi o meu primeiro show internacional aqui no Brasil. Foi em São Paulo, no Estádio do Morumbi, em 20 de Março de 1981. A banda estava sensacional e eles vieram se apresentar no Brasil pela primeira vez na turnê do Álbum The Game, de 1980.

you should really watch the bohemian rhapsody movie if you ever find the time! not necessarily to react to, but it definitely gives you a better idea of queen’s history, and it’s really fucking good. rami malek plays an incredible freddie! some of the movie is obviously dramatized and shortened for hollywood, but for the most part it’s pretty accurate

Fun fact; I can’t say about the others states but in Rio most of the radio station still plays this song every single day 😂 and this EXACTLY version! It is really weird to me hearing the studio version because every time the guitar solo comes on my mind is like “Brian!!! Brian!!”

Please keep doing more Queen, they are without a doubt one of the best rock bands ever. Freddie Mercury was the lead singer, he played piano and guitar, and the other members are Roger Taylor (drummer and singer), Brian May (lead guitarist and singer) and John Deacon (bassist). They all were amazing songwriters as well, they are the only band in history in which all the members have written a song that has reached #1 on the charts!

I’m Brazilian and used to it, but every single time I see any concert in Brazil I feel shivers down my spine!!! 💕 When I was 15, I went to a Skank concert in my city and that was amazing! The crowd asked them to keep playing and singing as they finished the show and nobody went away until they came back and sang 3 more songs, two their own and they finished with Satisfaction by Rolling Stones. It was insane!

There were 250,000+ at this concert. South American did not get a lot of rock concerts at the time and Queen was one of the most popular groups in Brazil, so yeah, everyone wanted to be there. Queen consist of: John Deacon - bass guitar Roger Taylor - drummer and vocalist Brian May - lead guitar and vocalist Freddie Mercury - lead vocalist and piano That was Dr. Brian May, Ph.D. (Astrophysics), playing the 12-string accompanying Freddie. Brian usually played the famous "Red Special" electric guitar during all Queen songs. FYI - Brian built the "Red Special" guitar when he 17 with his father. He stills plays it today (over 50 years later), Freddie, like so many in the 1980s,, became infected with the HIV virus which turned into AIDS. There is still no "cure" for the HIV virus but at least now there are treatments. In the 80s there were no treatments that worked. Freddie passed away in November of 1991 at age 45 due to complications (pneumonia) from AIDS.

Love Of My Life was written by Freddie about Mary Austin whom he was engaged to for several years. They broke up due to Freddie’s sexuality but they remained life long friends until Freddie passed away in 1991. He trusted Mary explicitly & considered her his common law wife! think about it this is 1985.... and they are playing LIVE to over Quater of a million people.. let that sink in .. average stadium holds bewteen 60-80 thousand people ... this is a crowd of over 250,000 people. ands no freddie did not die of an overdose, he died of A.I.D.S releated Pneumonia he was writing and recording songs till 2 weeks before he died.
