The most memorable moment for me & it wasn’t even in this video surprisingly was Manchester United’s 2 goals in extra time to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in the European cup final in 1999, they had Giggs’s solo run in the FA cup semi final that year, but not the 2 goals in extra time to win the biggest prize in European football, not to mention it being the Historical Moment Manchester United won the Treble (league cup, FA cup & European cup), how did it not get in!!? 🙄🤷‍♂️

My team is Newcastle United, the world's greatest under-acheivers. In the 90s we were everyone else's 2nd favourite team, we were dubbed "The entertainers" by Sky Sports because we were fantastic to watch. I honestly think we led the way in the attacking style of football that the Premier League became known for, but typically, we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in 96, finished 2nd again in 97, and been playing catch up ever since. We must be the best supported failures in world football, 55000 every home game, and nothing to show for it. But one day...................... I just hope I'm still alive and kicking to see it. Last time we won the FA Cup was in 1955......... 2 years before I was born. Is everyone crying yet? I CAN remember 1966 though!............... COME ON ENGLAND!

My football memory was going to the old Wembly in 1980, to watch my local team in the Non League Cup Final, our town only has 10,000 people but we took 15,000 supporters with us from the North, special trains and a fleet of coaches. We sang, and waved our flags, cheered the team being announced, with biggest cheer for our captain and centre forward. I remember when we scored, though not the two they scored. We walked back to the station singing that we would be coming back to Wembly in 1981, we didn't, haven't been back yet. Back home on an open top bus the team toured the town, as little lads chased behind to the market ground, where youths perched on top of hoardings and old ladies in plastic union Jack hats sang Congratulations and Celebrations. That we lost made no difference at all, we went that's what mattered.

You’ll find when an american calls a sequence of the game “a play” they get very offended. You have set”plays” in the game when there’s a free kick or a corner but you can’t use the word “play” during a continuous sport as 99.9999% of the time what happens in a football match isn’t planned but spontaneous. Also to be fair there’s nothing worse than seeing football with an American commentator. There’s no passion in American sports and it kills football too whenever you hear an American commentator.

You tend to get two types of fans, those that choose their club affiliation based on just liking the team which is why we have fans of some clubs far away geographically from where that club is based or fans who support their local team or the team where they grew up. Football gets into the blood and I'm still playing at 58 a new type of game called Walking football which helps old boys like me still enjoy the Beautiful game long after we thought we we're finished.

Man. I hate watching that Aguero goal for Manchester City. It makes me cringe so bad. It was the last game of the season and it was a battle between Manchester United and Manchester City to win the Premiership title. Both teams were level on points going into the final game of the season. Manchester United were on top with just a slightly better goal average. Manchester United beat Sunderland 1-0, and City were loosing 2-1 against Queens Park Rangers, but some how in injury time City managed to score two goals, hence City winning the title on goal difference. I was pissed to say the least.

But no matter how hard times got tough, our true fans never gave up, which has now paid off. They stood by the team even at rock bottom of the EFL. And I think that is the same for every team, because no matter how much hardship a team goes through, we will stand by our teams, always, with our love for football.

I support Sheffield Wednesday - we had the first American (John Harkes) to play in the Premier League, he was also the first American to play and score in the League Cup final and was the first American to play in the FA cup final.

I'm a Liverpool fan from Sweden and have many beautiful memories from both club and country. Zlatans insane bicycle kick against England ofc, Liverpools "miracle of Istanbul" and finally winning the league after 30 years are just a few of them. Easily the best sport in the world. YNWA

beckham was a solid player with a gift for long ball passes and free kicks, but he practised so hard for that. Messi i do not doubt trains hard, and i know Ronaldo trains hard, but both are far above David Beckham and Beckham would probably be first to admit that. he is that humble, as is Messi which is unusual. Ronaldo is more usual. his self confidence borders on arrogance but doesnt quite go past that limit.

Chelsea fan, same as my dad (RIP), same as his dad... My dad passed away 11 years ago, but we were allowed to spread some of his ashes in the goal area of the Shed End (stadium) and also put a plaque up in the tunnel..this tunnel beneath the stadium has so many other plaques to those fans who had passed away.. Chelsea treated me and my 2 sisters so well that day..

When the commentators are going hyper, screaming at what they're seeing it makes me laugh my arse off. I've never been into football, I haven't been following the latest Euros, even my sister watched the England v Germany match and she's about as sporty as I am, lol. I'm aware, specifically, of the long rivalry between the two nations ... I'm old enough to remember when England trounced Germany in 1966, " They think it's all over ... it is NOW ". Seeing this montage hasn't changed my view of football but it's given me more of a sense of the atmosphere around the 'beautiful game'.

England leading 3/2 with 20 seconds left IN ENGLAND in The 1966 World Cup Final and the commentator said the immortal words "Some people are on the pitch-they think it's all over" and 5 seconds later England scored a 4th goal and he paused and carried on "IT IS NOW!".....unrehearsed, obviously.

I support the São Paulo FC‚ team in Brazil. If you like free kicks, check out Rogerio Ceni's goal compilation, the goalkeeper with the most goals in football history. Or São Paulo FC x Liverpool 2005‚ Club World Cup final‚ probably the greatest performance by a goalkeeper in the competition.

I support Sporting Clube de Portugal, a club based in Lisbon. We won our league title for the first time in 19 years in the season just gone. I’ve never felt happiness like that in my entire life. To wait so long having to watch our direct rivals win title after title it hurt unreal amounts. To see us finally win it again is something that will stay with me forever.

Nice to see Ernie Hunt with the Donkey Kick from Coventry City FC. So revolutionary in that moment, but FIFA banned it immediately. Play Up Sky Blues!
