That trash problem and the human waste thing ehh, they had other norms that days. Take for instance palais de Versailles in France, 700 rooms and just 1 toilet for Marie de Antoinette.

Water has oxygen 🙂 H2O. The O is Oxygen. The wood doesn't rot because the clay around it deprives it from O🙂

... I pali non marciscono xche non c'è ossigeno e quindi i batteri che si nutrono del legno non si sviluppano. Questa "notizia" emerse durante gli studi effettuati negli ultimi decenni. Magia Veneziana😉💪❤️

I heard Venice is slowly it sinking, way too many tourists, which fortunately is better organized now. But the enormous rain, and the water level, which is rising.

The sinking is , in most part , due to the use of underground drinkable water . The ground is lowering.

As for the waste problem back then, keep in mind that this happened every were. Your ancestors did the same thing. When the population grows, the problem gets worse. Solutions have to be found and implemented. What worked 100 years ago, is not good enough anymore for 2024. We cannot have an outhouse in our backyards. Just do some research.

Yes, he doesn't think that incineration leads to fires that destroy entire cities. You didn't have much alternative. The Romans had a sewage system, but after the fall of Rome, for more than a thousand years, there was no solution
