The "morin khuur" is the main instrument in Mongolian music. As you could see it`s a kind of two string violin played with a bow. It`s also called "Mongolian horse head violin" because it is adorned with a carved horse head at the top of the neck. This music puts you in a very specific mood.

Ron said it perfectly. HU is unique and LP is wonderful. Not only does she write her own songs but writes for many famous singers too. Lost On You is a good song. Think I suggested it before. Glad you liked it.

Great suggestion Jim! I have been a big The Hu fan for years but had never heard of LP until this song. Same when they did The Song of Woman collab with Lzzy Hale (went on to explore her band Halestorm) Never did check out LP despite planning too. So many artists/songs so little time. The Hu just toured the USA in July and August. The Hu means "human" in Mongolian language. Morin Khuur is the 2 string Horsehead Fiddle and Tovshuur is the name for the Mouth harp. Happy you loved The Hu. I like The Wolf Totem, Yuve Yuve Yue, and Sad but True songs.❤❤❤ Mid-day for me, light snow falling as I do baking for a friend's Birthday Party for tomorrow. He had a severe accident many years ago, paralyzed from waist down and cannot eat standard store-bought cakes. 🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Sonic masterpiece . chills everytime I hear it. I would suggest their song -Song of Woman ft. Lzzy Hale. As much as i love the Hu's more metal pieces these softer songs are pure magic.
