Cheslin is 30 years old plays for his Home team South Africa Springboks from 2019. Was told at only 5ft 7" he was too small to play rugby but as you can see size doesn't matter! His speed is 10.70sec in a 100m currently playing in Japan's rugby league

Hi mostly over the years it's been big big men! Years ago there were no rules at all tackling etc different now can't tackle above the shoulders.the cap some wear like Cheslin is to protect their ears in the scrum because the position they play is in the middle of the scrum. Another great player is Faf de klerk he also plays for the Springboks he's small too but great to watch he's like a little bulldog lol im English and we have 2 league teams where l live so rugby's always been around my dad was a big rugby fan. I love watching the reactions!! And talent like Cheslin and as I said have a look at Faf de klerk I'm sure you'll enjoy it even if the did beat England in the semi final of the World Cup last year
