@@ivylasangrienta6093 The "new" highway is pretty chill, can cruise 120 the whole trip.. I remember the old route, it had this really slow road after Lohja. It's a nice easy drive now, cool.

Amazing place if you like modern and "old town" city with easy access to beautiful nature and water/sea. Peace and quiet if you want, but also very active festival and cultural town.

Finland is a bit larger than people expect, it takes about 2hrs with train between the two central stations. Also the flags of the old ship are not country flags but maritime signal flags.

The boat restaurants are definetly a thing, tho most of them are more so bars then restaurants.

Sub zero too cold for you? GIO BOZZ lives in Sodankylä, where it goes way down. In the winter of 2019 it was almost -40C there 8) -30 and -25C is not at all unheard of in souther city of Tampere either, but Turku is on the coast so it's always a bit warmer.

It think he or it meant to say that people visit Lapland to see the northern lights. You rarely see northern light in the south of Finland.

The Turku city is former capital before russians occupied Finland at 1809 and before that it was part of Swedish emperium. Almost 500 years.
