I see that 1420’s videos are reposted on Reddit, and those reposts contain cut versions with only negative responses from interviewees. Nobody reposts positive responses because apparently nobody is interested in it! Negative videos usually “sell better” just like the news; while this video has less aggressive people than in the previous videos, my gut feeling tells me, this video will reach less people! Hence, less people will see that there are some sane people. People only need to see babushkas who’re willing to ****** everyone, including babies. This comment is a reminder to not use “Russians” with any following adjective in a sentence. For example, “Russians are bad”, “Russians are cool” and so on. Just like with any other nationality, it’s too many people to put them in one box. "But Ukrainian children are dying and women are being raped, how can you say that Russians are not bad??!!” - for those of you who’re willing to write this, I’d recommend to calm down, turn off the computer and go to park for a walk ❤ Also! Well in a way yes and no. Resistance groups could always spring up and honestly start conducting secret missions around and or inside the Kremlin. So in some aspects yes I feel bad but at the same time. None of them are wanting to potentially sacrifice their "Freedom" that they have left nor their life to better their future generations. :) I mean if the US didn't stand up to Britain back in the 1700s, America would be a lot different today. So to each their own but I feel the Russian populace could be doing a lot more to help end this faster and sooner.

@@diamondsarenotforever8542 Sure it is true. What you hear recent immigrants saying on KZbin is propaganda. It is all the same thing. It is all what Finns themselves say about Finland. It has nothing to do with what foreigners in Finland have been saying among themselves for decades. The idea that it is difficult to get acquainted with Finns, but when you do, you have a friend for life, is repeated in every video, but it is nonsense. It is not difficult to get acquainted with Finns, they are just like everyone else. Furthermore, they do not make better friends than Swedes, Germans or French, or any number of other nationalities. It is all ridiculous. There are troubling conditions in Finland as in every country but the Finns agree to deny them and hide them. One of them is the privatization of child services and increasing abuse, which is mentions often on Finnish radio. There are several other issues that Finns do not let out. Since the language is so different, it is easy to keep secrets.

I'm from Sweden, and let me tell you: Sweden WOULD NEVER have joined NATO if it wasn't for the invasion of Ukraine and Putins aggression towards the West. The public opinion in Sweden took a 180 degree turn when Putin decided to invade Ukraine and started to show aggression towards Sweden by invading the air space over Gotland with fighter jets. Sweden has been at peace for over 200 years and even managed to not get involved during the 2nd world war. Our joining of NATO is just an assurance of safety, and nothing else! I fucking hate war, and don't consider people of any country to be my enemy. And us joining NATO is unfortunate because spending a lot of money to expand the military is just a waste of money, that could have been used for education and health care, IMO.

Joining the NATO makes Sweden true enemy to Russia. Don't make wrong decision and keep your neutrality. The Russo-Ukrainian war started in 2014 with Donetsk, Lugansk rocket shelling and Crimean blockade due to Crimean decision to leave Ukraine as they had tensions for almost 20 years.
@JakeBassCZ
@JakeBassCZ Жыл бұрын
Joining NATO usually meant a sharp drop in military spending, because countries specialize and rely on collective defense. A lot of NATO countries in Europe have underfunded militaries - because nobody expected a major conventional war. Sweden - as a neutral country - has a sizable military that won't have to be expanded very much, nor does it need any rearmament for NATO standards as its' massive arms industry helps set NATO standards. In fact, Swedish arms industry might rise to new heights in the coming years because of new contracts for fighter jets, IFVs, ATGMs, MANPADS and warships.

Your military spending, along with Finland's is still a powerful deterrent, make no mistake, and keeping in mind that if it ever came to it, neither country would want to have to sit patiently and wait for NATO reinforcements to drive over the Oresund bridge while Russia is right next door, or the first thing that would happen is NATO would have to violently de-occupy both countries, after god only knows what would have been inflicted on you in the meantime

However, I doubt that they will go to war with Finland seriously, of course. They guard the government more. (From an american) This is amazing work. I commend you all. This kind of journalism is ABSOLUTELY needed. I've never donated or paid for a comment before (whatever you call this) but I feel a NEED to support you and your channel in some way. I feel it is crucial to 1. Explain to the west the thoughts of the general Russian population 2. Allow us to see the good...the bad...and the ugly of the discourse that happens within....and 3. and most likely most importantly allows us to relate to these human beings. No matter if it's because they make me laugh or if it makes me want to cry. In the end that's the common denominator. We are all human beings and we must find common ground. This current world situation is tense and scary but this channel has allowed insight for me and at times a sense of relief as well as a sense a despair. But I've come to realize it's just the nature of the world we live in right now. As JFK said.."We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal." Please continue your work and I wish you and yours the best of health. P.S. if your reading this please support these people. They absolutely deserve it. Cory

@andersandersson3689
@andersandersson3689 Жыл бұрын
@@tusk4339 The existence of borders is not the problem. Our idea of their purpose is. If we allow everybody to communicate, conduct trade and travel across borders, fine, I see little problem with that. But as borders are also used to limit the territory under the control of a single government, and to confine separate jurisdictions, removing said borders would lead to a world population under the same government and the same laws, with nowhere to escape should that government deteriorate into a tyranny. When your government makes bad decisions, and you criticise them for that, they may ask you to give a single example of a government that is doing better, and you can't find one, because there is no other government to compare to. The worst place in the world is simultaneously the best one. The right to seek asylum in a different country is no more. Why? Because it's no longer needed due to the government being perfect, or because the concept of "different country" has evaporated? "To form a more perfect union": which are the two most important words in that phrase? I'd say its "a" (indefinite form, one of many possible) and "more" (a comparison with something else). Pluralism. The very force that makes business work (competition), democracy (elections), even refridgerators work due to the contrast between hot and cold. To be human is to be different. Celebrate difference, not uniformity.

I think Putin knows he can't attack Finland and Sweden. And had he started to talk about Finland and Sweden joining NATO without making any move to attack, it would have weakened his propaganda regarding Ukraine. After all, he pretends that Ukraine was under NATO influence and that this was a threat to us, but then surely two countries joining NATO are also a threat, so Russians should logically expect him to attack them too and he can't afford that. Of course, he could find a way to talk about it and to justify not attacking them, but it would make his propaganda less logical and since there are Russians who are becoming a bit more critical about Ukraine, maybe he doesn't want to show them another proof that his propaganda is just BS...

Oh and by the way, everyone told me that if I just leave and go back to my mansion, I wouldn't have to deal with all this trouble anymore. Well, long story short I'm not leaving. Imagine how weak I would look to the whole neighbourhood if I just gave up! I must either get hold of the whole house or somehow come up with a way to leave and make it look like I won. So far I haven't succeeded in either and the neighbour is getting newer and better defence equipment all the time so I think I will just make more threats to everyone until I figure something out. And believe me we will fight till last warrior. Like Ukraine is doing now. And west europe? Pussies. I wonder what they gonna do when shit gets hot. And if chinna starts war also and USA cannot help herself and Nato alies. Oh thats would be worst case scenario. So USA should end this shit in Ukraine ASAP, restock and prepare again. Because western Europe Nato to my believe will not put a finger on our Baltic states because they only will try to safe their own ass (and thats is a question is it possible anymore?) Poland/Sweden/Finland and Ukraine is our main allies now. Imho. I mean what western Europe think of us? Like some small countries that have nothing to offer? Everyone thought that Ukraine will pass out in 3 days or 2 weeks. No. No and no. Just give me the gun ill fight. Give the gun to German people? They will run for their lifes. French? Same. Spain is safe for now. Even UK understands what ruzzia is and this should be main europe compass of what happening but nooo... Fuck them. We have Poland and i wish it would become main European force nation which is doing now. Because Poland and Baltics know what ruzzia threat is. We will not forget. We will never let down. Спасибо, for posting the video, Daniil. Your channel have wider my perspective of the situation. It reminds me to always try to separate the ruling regime from the regular people. Most people are good human beings and just trying to improve their living standards in the daily life. Thoughts and beliefs can change. For example, when I was in my teenage years, I had bad beliefs and thoughts against people with another skin color. I was wrong, and I now know that it was wrong. When saying "Russians" and, as you say, pull out and negative adjective in front or after, it's also wrong. Would I do the same mistake as I did in my teenage years? No way. I prefer to make friends and learn the language, try to understand, rather than just pull out the words.

Hello from Finland. In these uncertain and chaotic times it's easy to dehumanize one another and think people from anoher nation are beyond humanity. Videos like these are a healthy reminder that even though there is war in Ukraine, we are also increasingly living in a world where we don't see each other as enemies but rather as people who all believe in peace, shared prosperity and common humanity. I genuinely wish there would be no wars. Nobody wins in that, we all have a common shared interest in a better tomorrow for all of us. My father died in February 2022. He used to travel to Russia many times and he even found a letter-friend family whom he had slept over during his travels in Russia and they were writing to eachother for many years. All the lovely gifts my father got, they seemed like good people. I wonder how they are doing these days, I wish them well.

This is a very dangerous concept. You just can't assume someone is the aggressor and start aggressing. This is definetely not the way. If it would, the world had already gone into the WW3 by now. You can't (and should NOT) attack anyone just because you think it's the aggressor and dangerous. It cannot be called "self defense" if noone is attacking you. But that is preciesly what is Russia doing right now. And this is the real danger and the reason why Russia must be stopped.

As a Finn seeing this gives me at least some hope. In time, and I hope soon, we need to rebuild our relation with Russia, but on equal terms this time. We are not interested in the kind of forced "friendship" we had with the Sovjet Union. Nobody except our communists believed in it, albeit that common Russians, unaware of the real circumstances, seem to have believed it more sincerely. Right now however, any relation is not possible. You cannot have any relations with a man who has caused the death of about 500.000 people in just the last few years. Generally many Russians in your videos seem like intelligent and capable people, even those who support Putin. But there seem to be some crucial factor in their society that makes them succumb to brutal dictatorships time and again. Finding and curing that ill would be beneficial for the entire planet.
