Pacquiao ducked Mayweather when he refused to do Olympic style drug tests for 5 years. thems the facts. when Pacquiao finally agreed to the drug test in 2015, they fought and Floyd beat him. then the excuses started coming: paid judges/ref, switched scorecards, shoulder hurt, Manny was not prime (despite Floyd being older) etc LOL even Freddie Roach said on video that he told Manny they lost to Floyd because "Floyd's jab was dominant." you dont need a KO to win... and you will not win if you eat jabs all night without trying to cut the ring like Pacquiao did.

the process for pacquiao vs mayweather fight was so stressful lmao. mayweather ducked manny for years, kept on avoiding him even when manny publicly invited him for a fight. the organizers kept on trying to secure the fight but floyd wasn't giving in. that man cared so much about his undefeated record afraid it will get tainted, he only agreed when manny wasn't in his prime anymore, got old and slower than before. pacquiao wasn't even active when the fight was fixed he just said "well people wanted it for years" even said in one interview that he doesn't care if he lose afterall he's not perfect but he's not afraid and what's important to him is he give it his all in every fight that he has and will have. "if there's a fight, i will fight" he said how can he be the best if he'll handpick the fights and just do it if he wants. when the sched was finalized, both of them were in a different weight class. manny suggested they meet in the middle manny would gain weight, floyd would lose some but mayweather did not want to adjust so for the event to push through, manny tried to gain a lot before the fight. "fight of the century" they say but no fight actually happened cause floyd just run around the ring after getting his punch in. manny wanted to engage and give people a good time cause we were waiting for this fight for years but floyd was so defensive. i get it that it's his style but that is also the very reason why people were dissapointed with the results and many refuse to accept that he won. people wanted to see them box not a tag where manny chases him the whole fight.
