The classical Döner Kebap in Germany is a quarter piece of a large Turkish flatbread that will be toasted and then opened, laced with your choice of sauce (red spicy, white herbal, or white garlic) inside, and finally filled with grilled veal meat cut thinly off the spit as well as iceberg lettuce, cut tomatoes and onion pieces, and shredded fresh red cabbage. There are obviously numerous variations across Germany (e.g. other meat, sauces, ingredients).

In einem Döner sollte auf alle Fälle auch Salat sein und eigentlich auch Kraut. Das ist das Minimum, deswegen waren das meiner Meinung wieder keine guten Döner 😉 . Noch besser ist, wenn auch gebratenes Gemüse (Paprika, Karotten, ...) dabei ist. Und wenn man will sehr scharfe Soße.

There was too much meat in this Döner and too less (cut) vegetables (lettice, tomatoes, red cabbage, Peperoni, cucumbers, onions,...) A Döner Kebab should be a complete meal to Go..

Yea should be a complete meal. I mean that was the original idea behind it. Trying more places is also good, there are always smal differences to find. Try more, it's nowadays a staple food in Germany which you find nearly evrywhere. But you should look and compare, there are a lot of bad ones

The best Döner in northwest Germany is in Uelsen from Aspendos in the Grafschaft Bentheim / Lower Saxony on the German-Dutch border.

You don't see the salad on your kebab at all, or is it only with meat? there should also be red cabbage, feta, olives and possibly tomatoes, cucumbers and something like that?!... you definitely have to try it with cocktail sauce 👌🏻 oohh...and to Drink "Ayran" please 😉

You: (Pick at least 2, typical:) Yoghurt and spicy It can be even easier: You: 1 Döner mit alles tzaziki scharf. Dönerman: Ok

The great on Döner is the mixture of bread, salad!, sauce and meat. The kind of meat is very important - chicken döner just is not it.

That wasn't a Döner, that was a pita-bread with meat. A Döner is a whole meal in a bread. It should have some pickled or grilled vegetables such as eggplant, tomatoes, white and red cabbage, cucumber, lettuce, pepperoni and olives. Yes, you don't like every vegetable or every salad, but at least something belongs in it. Sauce, yogurt or garlic are also important ingredients. Your kebab is crap! Either you didn't understand the principle of the compilation or it was the worst kebab shop in Germany.

Hi, try the Yufka version, also called Dürüm. Easier to eat and not so much bread as it is just a patty to be filled and rolled. I always order; "With everything and spicy!" " Mit Allem und scharf!" 🙋‍♂️

Yufka dough is also used for Börek Sticks (which I had 2 today - spinach and soft cheese). So Yufka Döner has a very thin dough, it's more like a Wrap...

The best Döner Kebab still comes from Berlin, where it was invented by a turkish guy in 1972. Great idea to put some meat and different vegetables in a bread pocket.... ..In Berlin they have up to 3 sauces in 1 Döner...

So, a classical Döner is beef, selfmade bread (which you had and it looks really good), tomatoes, onions. And turkish garlic sauce called "Cacık".Thats basic and classic. Everything else is "modern". Tbh, what you had is more like meat and and bread. That is not a Döner.

for me normally "with everything but not spicy" or a little bit spicy. "spicy" is spicy. Extra spicy > i don't want to die ..LOL. Another funny thing is the challenge to eat it without doing a mess to your own face .. this needs training A "battle" is a bad idea because every well done döner is a winner which is the fact for the most ones ... enjoy the döners 🙂

Hi! Sorry to say, but these are no legit Döners. From what I saw, many of the main ingredients are missing. Iceberg lettuce, coleslaw/red cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, more (garlic) sauce and pul biber (spicy paprika/chilli seasoning). Go easy on the last one, to much will burn off your head of your shoulders. 🥵

They went to Langen in Hessen. I think the car with the MIL (Miltenberg/Bayern) was their own, because MIL is on the border to Hessen....😂😂😂
