This scene shows how his ptsd is fucking over his life. The babies crying were normal, but he panicked and got angry because he was traumatized during the war

They did it wrong with the nurses. It seems more like they're ignoring him than not hearing him, which is douchy as hell if that's his daughter. They at least owe him an explanation.

NightBot Ban You missed the point of this scene. Babies are supposed to cry. It's a sign they're breathing right. Him reacting this way is his ptsd acting up.

Xoreign You’re wrong. The nurses seemed to be Arab-American, probably Muslim. They knew who he was and deliberately refused to serve him or his daughter. If you’re going to comment on adult movies, at least learn to keep up with what’s going on, or else, you look like a dumbass.
@asiyahm85264 жыл бұрын

All babies cry, but that wasn't what Chris was mad about. He suffered from PTSD, causing him to get mad at the nurse not giving him his newborn daughter.

Guys, I became a father last night. I never went to war so I can understand Chris’ pain in that deep level, but the rage of a Dad seeing his baby in pain not is so real that it’s hard to breathe when it happens. Had a new nurse attend to my son and even though I should have reasonably given the benefit of the doubt. I had this silent rage boil over me as I watched even tiny mistakes with my son. I can’t imagine the level Chris must have felt in real life. This scenes both Chris ptsd and the rage of a father very well.

@EdwardGutierrez907 жыл бұрын

I think it was his ptsd for the most part. Babies normally cry and he was reacting worse then normal I think even though the nurse wasn't attending to his daughter right away. It was showing how much worse he was making a scene of it
@tassymccormick6 жыл бұрын
I was a nursery nurse for two years. In reality, nursery nurses don’t cuddle the infants. You tend to them as they need it. That nurse that was swaddling and swaying the baby while another needed attention is just very unrealistic.

He saw the baby as one of his squad members. He heard the baby crying and in his brain synced it up with his squad mates screaming. He’s essentially seeing his squad mate getting hit and no one is helping

@yobreffstank97827 жыл бұрын
Why didn't they help his daughter? can someone explain this to me?
@6Barrington7 жыл бұрын
If you are ever around a newborn they cry all the time. It is one of the first signs that a doctor looks for to see if the baby is actually alive. It is just what they do. The nurses feed them and check their diapers and other than that if the baby is healthy, you just have to let it clam down by itself
@johnfurlong4575 жыл бұрын
Alex Cherecwich yeah but not continuously like that. In the movie, the nurse was deliberately refusing to calm down a baby that really needed attention. Instead, all she did was cuddle a child that was already fine.

Im a mom. Newborns dont cry all the time. Newborns are overwhelmed and need comfort. Usually a swaddle or binky helps sooth them. They cry when uncomfortable or hungry. You wouldn't want to get a rash from sitting in wet shit smothering you or feeling rhe sensation of your organs processing food, which is causing stomach pains lol. A spoiled 2 year old cries more than a newborn
