@TheNatashaDebbieShow Football or soccer as its onown in the U.S can be extremely tactical and often you can get very low scoring games, especially if the team with inferior players decides to play very defensively, if Manchester United plays against Oxford United for example, who are in the division below the premier league, the likelihood is is that Oxford will play with 10 men behind the ball and condense the space and be ultra defensive, making for a very boring game.

not quite true, they only needed a draw to qualify directly, the final score was 2-2. If they lost, they could still qualify via the playoffs, but a draw meant they finished above Germany (Germany qualified via the playoff)

Regarding #10. What you need to understand is that when a player is 'dribbling' the ball in the 'penalty area', the defenders have to make sure they stop him in a completely legal way. They cannot just scythe him down, as they might upfield, because they will give away a penalty kick. This means the ball on the penalty spot (12 feet from the goal line) with the goalkeeper trying to stop the opposition's best penalty kicker from scoring. As a result they are trying stop the guy without giving away a penalty.

At the time Beckham played for Manchester United which meant most fans of every other team hated him anyway. The sending off swayed the ones on the fence. He still played for them at the time of his goal against Greece and was still widely hated as a club player, although that feeling would mellow a little when he left to join Real Madrid in 2003 (The goal was in 2001 to qualify for the 2002 World Cup.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic made the list several times, although if you asked Zlatan he'd say he should have been in all 20. I was there when he scored that goal for #1. It was during an international friendly against England in Stockholm (Friends Arena) The match was Sweden's first game there as it became the new national stadium. England were invited to christen it, I bet they wished they'd declined the invite now. I'm sure defenders around the world opened a bottle of champagne the day Zlatan retired.

The brilliant youngster name Alejandro Garnacho score his bicycle kick in a away match against Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier Leage who assisted by fellow Manchester United player Diogo Dalot. Garnacho bring back the memory of Wayne "Wazza" Rooney to Manchester United. What a moment. That's why at that time Alex Ferguson make the perfect Manchester United squad off all time.
