I had a blue nose who lived with me for only 20 months! He passed away last March 26th. He brought so much joy to my life and turned my life that in less than a year, I doubled my earning! Bought him a Toyota Highlander and he loved his SUV! He was so affectionate, loved people, GOD is my witness that I did everything to take care of him, raised him just like my son! One day he was playing with his toy ball, in front yard, in matter of seconds, going to chase the ball , he sneaked through fences and ran in to street! I don’t know how I made it, but made him saved not getting hit by car instead got hit by the same car so bad! That I don’t remember what happened after that! When I opened my eyes in hospital, my friend had him to watch me via FaceTime! That was the time I experienced real heaven! However, 6 months later, the whole world turned to hell! He died through a stupid accident that I caused that :( It s been 7 month since I have not seen him! And I missed him so much that every day I go by his grave sit and talk to him! The only thing I tell him is “Pikachu, I am so sorry, I can’t wait to see you again!” That’s all.

I got one now. She is just a puppy a few months shy of 2 years old. I dread the day I lose my baby girl, but while she is here she is living her best life. ❤️ she literally is the sweetest dog ever & so good with children. I was definitely blessed & I love how most people are scared of her because she is in the Pitbull family 😂

Our boy passed about 1.5 years ago. Through lack of knowledge, we never had him trained or associated. He only ever had one other dog friend (a Retriever cross) whom he adored. But he was the best behaved, obedient, loving, friend to everyone. I actually purchase quite a bit from eBay. Hence, one of his best human friends was the Fastway courier. His intelligence, his patience, his mannerisms always surprised us. I couldn't ever hope to replicate the relationship my wife and I had with him. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy into another friendship with an American Staffordshire Terrier. Simply the best 12.5 of my 55 years on this planet.

We have had many dogs, but our Am Staff is perfect! A character, gracious, polite, loving, very easy to assimilate into a household, rarely barks, super fun in the yard. Love their zoomies!

My friend has two, along with Bull Mastiff. All three are exceptionally friendly. It takes very little to please them. My friend often travels to Florida with them in a Winnebago, and stops along the way in Highway "pull overs" for the night. Never ever has she had any issues with "strangers". They are "alert" for anything that seems to be "unusual, or threatening". Once they know you, which takes very little effort on your part, they are ideal. If there is any issue with them (they are not small dogs) they quite often think that they are "lap dogs". If you allow them on your lap, be prepared for much snuggling AND the fact that they occupy quite a bit of space. LOL

Just lost my Shevi after 16 years. I rescued her from a pound at 2 months old. She was white and brindle, beautiful dog. The best dog i have ever known. I will get another staffy once my pain from losing her eases. Thanks for the video.

I have to agree. I've never had a guard dog. But if the wife and I would ever have a dispute, he use to stand in front of her and look up at me, seemingly disappointed.

I adopted a blue female amstaff, she was totally destroyed when i took her in, she had been living with a junkiebitch and god know what the poor dog had to endure, she had bad skincondition,fungus in her paws and her body was underdeveloped and she was so insecure and nervous ,but today she is a strong confident loving beautiful dog that thrives amongst her "pack", btw i had no expereance with dogs before i took her in...and my Point is that theese breeds are so lovely if they get love and a stabile home and their needs met.

My staffy is the best dog I've ever had. He also has an uncanny 6th sense with children like no other dog I've ever seen. He NEVER jumps on a little child, just behaves perfectly and let's them come to him when ready. He ADORES children full stop.

I have a blue 3yr old male. Long story short, this is the best dog I've ever had. I wasn't looking into getting a Amstaff because of the baggage that can come along with them. When I saw how good he was with small children, I had to get him. Great dog across the board.

I had a Staffy in the 80s. He came to my home as a stray. I found him playing with my Anatolian Shepherd in my backyard. He was not registered to an owner nor was he chipped. He stayed with me for about four years until I gave him to a family with children. My work schedule caused Muscles to become bored and restless.

My staff is almost 2 and he wasn't trained well. I'm afraid I won't be able to train him properly. He's a love bug but a brut. He always wants to jump on people. I need to somehow train him not to do that. First off I need to have him listen to me first lol.😅 I got him 5 months ago also. So yeah. The guy that HD him was trying to train him to be aggressive. So i took him away from him.. my baby is too cute to be aggressive.

In Austrlia, pitbulls are banned. A local council decided to check dogs registered as amstaffs to see if they had the same dna as pitbulls. They found no difference in dna testing between registered amstaff and illegal pitbulls. So they can't tell. I bought a dog from a guy who said it was a pitbull. I registered him as as amstaff. I've had no problems.

So my fiance bought a puppy from a friend. He named him "Vicious" his name and appearance looks mean, but he's a big baby. When he was about 2yrs old, he escaped his leash one day while i was letting him out to use the bathroom and he ran toward a neighbor as she walking by but she screamed in horror thinking he was going to attack her, but he stopped so quick because he got startled and came running back to me. Sorry, but the American Bulldog is a different breed again, more representing a Mastiff. And you don't suppose an AmStaff may not come from Staffordshire,Texas? or Staffordshire, Virginia? or even Staffordshire, North Carolina? English Staffordshire Bull Terriers (lovely as they are) are completely different animals. This video isn't even about them. Why so angry? @@stllcb7894 Am Staffs and APBT or other pit bull types are extremely similar in appearance and you’d have to be an expert in either one to tell the difference. The Am Staff standard allows for only black or blue nose. “Red nose” is an APBT trait. Before the stud books closed though, some people were breeding APBT to Am Staff and labeling it as Am Staff, so that could be where the red nose came from! ☺️
