The tricycles are called "Beca" locally and also know as trishaw in English. Closest way I can think of pronouncing Beca is it sounds like "bay-cha"

Thanks! The "c" being pronounced has "ch" is one thing I had to get used to in Malaysia.

The green balls in coconut shreds is called Ondeh-ondeh (it has gula melaka in it which basically brown palm sugar). I never been to Jonker street but i can tell even tho they are definitely Asian food but they are not necessarily Malaysian. My favourite kueh is Kueh talam or Seri muka and kueh Bakar . It has sweet pandan custard on top and glutinous rice at the bottom. Kueh Bakar is pandan cake in flower shape baked with sesame seeds. Another one is Kueh Bingka (Yellow cassava cake). Its what i would recommend. Stinky tofu, tang hulu and even the potato twirls i think are taiwanese. I generally like stinky food lol i mean c'mon durian is stinky but so are some cheeses I do agree its not for everyone . Dont worry all the kuehs i mentioned are not stinky at all.

So, I wasn't the biggest fan of gula Melaka. I think the tastes was just a little to intense for me like molasses , but my favorite kueh by far was the kueh bakar (I didn't know the name until you said it), but the cake texture with pandan flavor... Oh my heart ❤️ I also like the pandan with glutinous rice as well. Kueh is delicious 🤤 I tried durian, and it wasn't the worst thing and I even think it smells good a lot of the time. Would I eat it on the regular... No but it wasn't terrible. I have a really strong sense of smell so I don't eat stinky cheese either. Not worth it haha 🤣
