Jeff, thank you SO much for talking about deleting all Logitech files from your registry and appdata folder. I have Windows 8.1 and lately, as soon as I'd start the profiler, it would crash. So for two months I couldn't play ATS. Then, today I watched your video and I tried what you did and it worked! Thank you Jeff, you're the best, man!

When merging, you wouldn't be able to see much out the window anyhow. I just use the mirrors. Of course, my truck also has nose mirrors, so those help.

Jeff go get a can of white lithium grease. Spray it where your wheel goes into the main housing..kinda do it thick at the same time of rocking the steering wheel back and forth (you get the grease at any car parts store no specific brand they all do the same thing) and within a few turns all those noises go away..what it is is the steering wheel bearing is going dry all good to happen it just needs a little maintenance

I have an easy tip for you. My grandpa drives trucks and I would ride along with him and one thing he taught me was if you see a red light drop the truck into lower gears and creep up on it that way you don't have to come to a complete stop.

That is because gta 5 uses the same AI as GTA 3 (and newer) and ATS uses AI from old 18 Wheels. And in those times the AI was in early stage.

I like this game, hopefully it'll show people what it's like to be a trucker. Aside from no real life emotions. Trucking is hard when everyone is always trying to block u, when you're just moving over for a crash or stopped police vehicle. Locking up your brakes in front of a big truck. The least realistic part, the in game truck stops quickly. A loaded truck at interstate speeds in real life, takes a football field to stop. Keep trucking guys, but respect America's truckers too.

In my 30 + years of driving truck, I have very seldom had to back into what this game makes you. Honestly, the realism should be "real". In other words, the length of the runs, parking, fueling, and loading/unloading is seriously lacking. But it still does look fun.

I just realized that the trailer parking brake button does not work, only the tractor brake button does which is the yellow one. They need to fix that. A driver pulls the red button for a pull test in the real world.
