@The Irish Nerd If you go the pre-built route you can get a PC able to run truck sim on ultra fairly cheap (£1500 - £2000) compared to building your own. Got my current ryzen 5900x and radeon 6900xt build for £2780. Of course you can go cheaper than £1500 If you're willing to compromise on some things.

ATS and ETS2, both supports steering wheel. I play both in my PC with the thrust-master t150 perfectly. Did you try settings->controls in the game to configure you're steering wheel?

You are a life savor Jason! I've been playing on my low end laptop for years with the graphics turned down very low just so it could run smoothly enough(didn't look too pretty though). You brought this to my attention, just tried it on my Xbox One S, and voila! Able to turn the graphics up and she runs smoother and looks better than ever, cheers mate!

If you follow the directions it really does work. Im not the Greatest at using a computer. Never had one before and did this on Xbox and it worked. Im getting a keyboard tomorrow. Been using the D-pad to go forward left nd right. A button swapping to wipers/activate/flashers. Yes takes major major major patients but so worth it. I played snow runner until i find this video. Tomorrow comes a keyboard 😎

@@GametechUK I got it to work thanks to you lol, but have you noticed any issue with two mouses showing on the screen, and almost like the mouse is limited to a "smaller" screen so I have to then use the controller to move the "restricted" box for the mouse to click on something..it's working just having some minor issues. If your strictly using the controller can you give me a map of your controls so I can edit mine to work smoothly? Thanks mate

Wow, thank you very much for adding this. I bought an Nvidia shield last year and I returned it. GeForce now just didn’t seem like it was worth it. Now I have the Xbox series X and I’m playing this amazing simulator and it even has my state of Oklahoma in it. For $20 a month this is an absolute steal. I have a huge steam library. I gave up PC gaming many years ago and stick to PS5 and Xbox series X now and it’s great that I can access my library again. Let me end by saying you can simply use the keyboard that plugs into the bottom of the Xbox series X controller for the functionality of a full-size keyboard.

Just to put it out there, Gforce now doesn't have wheel support 😔 I tried this on my laptop to play the new Bus simulator as my PS4 was playing up and you can't use a wheel - this no wheel support was verified when I looked into it.

I would be so HAPPY if and when ATS comes the XS. There are no good truck sims for console. I like PC but stuff like steering wheels and stuff of the sort are cheaper for console vs pc

Just seen this video. I tried it out, and it works. Paid for the middle package, as i waited for 30 minutes and still had 180 people ahead of me in the que. You lose allot on graphics when streaming. Did encounter lag from time to time. But, it gives me that fix without buying a 2k dollar pc. Euro truck 2 also worked for me.

OK, it's great, I'll agree. Now show us your binding's aka configuration's for steering on the highway at fast speed's vs in a city at low speed's. Based entirely on the education of one's "THUMB'S" , which I've been informed my issue is, I've got dumb thumbs. One can either drive really well on the highway. But then in the city need 40 acres' to make a right hand turn. Or the opposite, can make picture perfect right turn's. But is mandated to using four lane's on a two lane highway.

Playing either of SCS software's truck simulator games on console is currently impossible and anyone distributing the software on Xbox's store is breaking the law by doing so. The game isn't designed or intended to run on console based hardware and is only designed to run on PC and SCS has recently stated that they currently have no plans to bring the games to the console market.

Man I did everything and it works but whenever I'm on Geforcenow and I play ATS instead of taking me to the game it takes me to a what seems likes Playstation menu but its steam and it doesnt let me work. How did you get your Xbox controller to work for your controls? Mine acts like it’s still setup for browser mode so when I go to assign my throttle as the right trigger, all I get is zoom in on the screen and no assigned button for ATS.

You can't download external mods playing like this, just mods in the Steam workshop will work.
