Who else thinks thinks this game has TONS of wasted potential? This game would truly flourish if more and more various game modes, machine types, and map settings were added. I would love to see truck trials added with online competition, or industrial work like moving rock, coal, etc. This game is really imploding in on itself because of how harshly it sticks to the idea of LOGGING AND ONLY LOGGING. It may be an unpopular opinion, but I would love to play a story driven game mode. In conclusion, this game is bulging with potential, it just needs to be executed. We as a machine loving community can really help out by writing to the developers and telling them what the game needs.

Yeah I would love to be able to do more work, like constructing proper roads by delivering and applying shingle gravel, macadam or such materials, then flattening the roadway surface with a roller, then collecting and applying asphalt or tarmac. That's just one example of a different game mode that would suit this game perfectly.

I think the development team is just too small for some of these really ambitious wishes. What I really miss is some basic gameplay design and structure. At present state the game is more like a sandbox with very basic goals and rules. The only thing by which the player is evaluated is the stars system representing the initial condition. This is by the way opposite to common logic where more stars means better result. So there is no final score, the statistics of your game are displayed but do not influence player's evaluation. I think there should be a general score after finishing the map. It should take into account at least time and fuel spent and the initial conditions of course. It might include damages/repairs and if vehicles were rolled over or drowned. Thinking about it, the quantity measuring the end result should be money. Fuel, time, repairs - all costs money. The player should try to achieve the completion of given map or a whole game for the least amount of money. That makes sense in my eyes.

4:12 It would be cool to AT LEAST have driver spawning from driver seat to crane seat if we swap to crane operations. Best would be to see animation of a driver exiting truck and going to crane seat and other animation for opposite seat swap :) 6:20 I also wait for more things to do for objective progress. Like use specialised vehicle to move rocks/sticks etc. out of the way and some truck that we can load up woth gravel and transport it to damaged road and fill huge holes so that way we could transport logs with easier way. Derfault maps in majority cases are way to easy! :( And replayability is very low! I really hope that devs will work on this aspect of gameplay for Mudrunner 2 I really hope so. 6:16 There are other more helpfull uses for the plow. One thing that I do is when on muddy, slippery ground and when I am trying to winch a truck out of somewhere thats stuck I put the plow down stopping any slipping. (Can be usefull in rivers, bogs, ect...)

The blades main function is as an anchor point. Me and my friend found out if you get a large vehicle stuck in deep mud or flip in a river you can drop the blade and the vehicle WILL NOT MOVE at all.

if you easy it with only 2wd it can go far with 80 fuel,the biggest problem for the hummer is water-the truck is low so when you cross deeper water it takes damage to the engine easily

Awesome vid as always SD1One. I have zero interest in this DLC. What I find most interesting about the vanilla Mudrunners is that it is Eastern European and NOT American. As if there is not enough US influence in the world today, exposing oneself to other cultures is such an uplifting experience. More Eastern European trucks and vehicles please!

American Wilds dont look like, like wilds. In Original game you really felt like at the end of the world and asphalt was a blessing, here, we have more paved roads, cleaner conditions, so... it not that wild at all.

I tried the standard version and really liked the accurate vehicles and physics recreation, but the weather, colors and areas are really depressing and stopped playing after few hours. Will try again the SnowRunner. Would be great to have also some kind of civilisation on the maps...

Tips and tricks if you pull the flat bed car trailer out and drop it as long as you have the hitch another truck can grab it I use the one with 4wd
