Interesting video and thorough. A couple of points of clarification: - Black immigration to Atlantic Canada has very little to do with the 'Underground Railroad". The several waves of immigration occur first during the evacuation of the new USA by British troops, Loyalist and their slaves, as well as slaves that had attained freedom by fighting for the British during the American Revolution, and the second was at the end of the War of 1812 when slaves that had fought with the British and thus attained freedom were brought to Nova Scotia. The "mass exodus" of Acadians took place in starting in 1755 and was mostly over prior to 1760. This is during the French and Indians War. Chezzetcook is east of Halifax.
