Why do they always throw sticky side even if they just want to slide it into the hole?

Better to throw sticky, miss, and have it stay on the board. Dry conditions inside most likely, which means slick side will play a bit faster than normal.

For doubles in a shootout they could make it 20 rounds instead of 10. With 10, each guy only gets to pitch 5 times.

Sam Finley literally stepped over the line, with her throwing foot almost every time. Her shoe was covering it. How is this not flagged?

This is a little late, but the player has to throw the bag without crossing the line, which in her case the bag is thrown and then she crosses it. As long as she throws it before she crosses the line she in perfectly fine.
