I am so very grateful that this incredible rescue was able to happen! This is incredible to see! I have just recently been introduced and now entranced by Jackie & Shadow the eagles in Big Bear California. I live in Southern California. I need to learn more. Apparently I read that only 50% of baby eagles survive and rat poison also attributes to loss of our beautiful eagle’s. I think it’s crime that rat poison is still available and being used when it kills so much wildlife. I don’t even know if any attempt has been made to ban rat poison. Does anyone know anything about that? On a more positive note, it’s beautiful to see ALL the LOVE that went into saving this baby eagle! To the guy that climbed that tree, Thank you! That rope you hauled up seemed to be extremely long! ❤🦅

This is such a great thing! When society puts a camera on an Eagles nest, those Eagles become way more than just beautiful wild animals we admire. They become part of our lives. We watch them every day, therefore we naturally grow to adore them, to love them. With that type of connection comes responsibility. Responsibility to protect and intervene when saving a life is absolutely necessary (whether man made or natural). This natural case was 100% necessary and I couldn't be more impressed with how well this was executed.
