Thanks be to God for Glenn Goode and Joel Baker and his team for what you are doing and have done. Not just with the muffler men, but with this documentary.

I found this history of the road giants absolutely captivating-thank you for sharing it! I reside in New Castle, Indiana, where one of the two iconic "Corey's" had been a fixture for decades until its recent sale and removal. Its absence is deeply felt in our community, as it holds cherished memories for locals. I had the privilege of capturing our Corey on camera during the solar eclipse of 2017 and had hoped to do so again this year for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. This is a poignant reminder of how times change and how cherished landmarks can disappear. Incredible video!

Passing on history from one keeper to another....you met him when the time was right and his was nearing the end...he passed on his knowledge and enthusiasm for the Giants to you and now you are doing the same but with these videos....He'd be proud of you 😉

I KNOW none of y’all are gonna believe me but he’s my great grandpa lol, they are taking down the big people as of tomorrow august 28, 2023.. it’s incredibly upsetting.. his daughter (my Nana) just died last year September 28, 2022 and I guess her siblings decided to sell them… 💔 it’s gonna be so weird passing by and them not being there… I’m glad people got to make memories with them while they were there. Thank y’all for loving them all so much! Even the unfinished one lol.

This is such a beautiful documentary, Joel! It’s so important to tell stories like this so that people like Glenn are always remembered, and you’ve done such a nice job illuminating his story while also providing a ton of interesting historical context and your own personal experience. What a great story! I have always had a love for them! It started for me at Magic forest in lake george n.y. I loved seeing them as a kid and brought my own to see them before you guys helped move them out of there. I love your passion for them and your desire to keep them around for years to come. Thanks!

Thanks Joel...and thanks Glenn. Very well done...the music was a great compliment to the story. He was an old school guy, not really the kind of guy I would have expected to find the magic in these mufflermen, except that he was also a fiberglass guy. It appears that the 5 years after his death has come and gone and they're still standing, unless his family needs the money and they sell them for multiple times what Glenn paid for them. I always thought the Big John's looked pretty empty without their bags, and maybe someday they'll hold them again.
