There was rumor that WWE was trying to pitch a reboot AG, with some WWE Wrestlers as Gladiators. I for one am glad that didn’t happen, since it’d be a Disaster or Even Worse than the 2008 AG.

God damn this is the definition of nostalgia for me. Double nostalgia... Loved watching this in my youth..one of my favorite shows. THEN I got the game for Nintendo for Christmas. I have over 1000 games on my emulator and played it a few years back and it wasn't as awesome as I remember. But at the time it was amazing

I've just watched the ESPN 30 For 30 titled "American Gladiators Documentary" that just came out on Tuesday and Wednesday. And, seriously, fans of the show need to watch it. It is good, but very disturbing. And next time I watch old episodes on KZbin, I will probably see the show very, very, differently. And Johnny Ferraro is a scumbag.

A merciful end to a truly terrible season. You’d think by this point they’d have included the treadmill as part of the tryouts. I always remembered this show being amazing throughout my childhood, but watching these shows back as an adult has shown that it was only amazing for one and a half seasons. What a sad revelation.

Awesome final it was. Great final it was with awesome contenders who got this far. Dan Cunningham did awesome but couldn't catch up, but $15,000 isn't too bad. Same for Liz Ragland originally from Canada. She was one of three contenders to come from Canada originally. She gave it her all, but came up short, same thing she earned $15,000 USD. Adrienne Sullivan was awesome, and I know her brother up above would be proud of her. Adrienne with $30,000. Kyler Storm was fantastic and it pays off for a smooth run in the eliminator and an awesome pyramid performance. Not only won $30,000, but a huge kiss from his gal. Lisa showed her sexy legs. The hottest legs of 1994-95 award she gets. Awesome episode

In comparison to past seasons, Season 6 seemed to toned down the Athleticism & Excitement that the first 5 Seasons had. Maybe they were trying to show off too much of the “entertainment” side, which to me was a big mistake.

With a 15 episode preliminary it felt a lot longer than it was despite having less episodes than season 5 Spoiler: Season 7 is gonna have the opposite problem.

@@machoman1016 It was because they wanted more contenders, as oppose to Season 5. Frankly, I thought what they had the first 2 Seasons was much more effective, and the tournament seedings would’ve worked better, if the winners would’ve had their own brackets.
