I've met Kathy Mollica in person at the Brea Fire Department in the summer of 2008, when I was in college! She showed me the tour of the Fire Department and I talk to Kathy that I got an autograph picture of Venom (Beth Horn) from the 2008 version of the American Gladiators. I was surprised that Kathy was on the American Gladiators in the 3rd season in 1992 and became champion, and I didn't know that Kathy was on it. Very few contenders were able to get up to the red balls in Swingshot. Off the top of my head, I think only Kyler Storm and maybe Wesley Berry were the only ones that had the hops to do it.

1. I remember Lace was out most of Season 3 with an injury (was she hurt during an episode or off screen?); thus Diamond came back. 2. I forget at which point Tower & Storm came on as injury replacements for Gold and Turbo.

The thing that sucks about this day and age is that social media's made it easy to see who people who were on television really are. I loved watching Kathy Mollica compete when American Gladiators was on its first run. However, 30 years later, she's a hardcore Trumpist, and it's hard to get much enjoyment out of watching her now knowing what she became.
