"free montage" is not english a montage is just a bunch of photos people put together, so i have no idea what you are talking about as it has no relation to the otherwise neat topic

Precisely as you said, making gadgets from already used components (from damaged electronics or not used anymore) is exciting but also at the same time you give new life to the components that otherwise would be destroyed. Great video!

Good show. The secondhand store is full of future projects, even my Wife uses this resource in her hobby making shadow boxes. For me I find electronic victims for my bench, and anything I want to take apart. I really don't expect to get paid for what I do, I just have fun.

But what about RoHS compliance and CE marking? If you order a board, solder some components to it and its meant to be powered by an electronic source, then to sell it in the UK and EU it has to be RoHS and REACH compliant as well as safety tested to CE mark standard? Or is there a way around that with such DIY electronics?

My man, I don't live in Europe but that mostly applies to big businesses (think Casio, Sony, Phillips, etc), so as long as you're paying taxes on the sales you make there shouldn't be any problem. Try to worry first about getting started, then when you've grown the business enough to the point where you feel the need to partner with a big retailer you can start worrying about those regulations, but by then paying for such certifications shouldn't be a huge obstacle. Best of luck from Mexico!
