2015 Mustang GT: Corsa Xtreme Exhaust, Lowering Kit & Rear Valance

Check out one of the coolest, and loudest, builds that came to AmericanMuscle. Watch as this triple yellow GT get some serious upgrades to make it perform better and sound even more aggressive.
When this 2015 GT came to the AmericanMuscle shop we already knew the first upgrade would be a lowering kit. We decided to go with the Eibach Sport-Plus Suspension Kit which gave it a 1.5" drop in the front and 1.3" drop in the rear.
Next, to give this S550 a more aggressive exterior look, we went for the Roush Rear Valance. This rear valance also will fit just about any quad tip exhaust system, something that makes this even more appealing.
The final upgrade, we decided to go all out when it came to a unique and loud tone. That is why we opted for the Corsa Xtreme 3" Catback Exhaust System. This exhaust is definitely one that will wake the neighbors and give your Mustang that unmistakable muscle car sound!

after listening to the corsa exhaust on youtube I thought they sounded really good but I just was not sold on them. Then a 05 mustang gt pulled up next to me, and the exhaust sounded really good I asked him what was on his car, he said corsa extremes. When he pulled away from me I was blown away by the sound. Much deeper then on these videos. this is by far the best sounding exhaust note I have ever heard. Mine are in the mail as I'm writing this review. CORSA ROCKS

Ok, I am late to the party, but Holy Crap!!!! Justin, this was the most awesome car video I have seen in a long time. I am about to buy my very first Mustang ('17 GT Premium w/ 6 spd manual, my Dad had a '68 Shelby GT500KR when I was a kid) and I am definitely going to put the Corsa Xtreme from AmericanMuscle. I have tons of aftermarket shops in my area but I would rather give my money to Justin and the peeps at AM. Well done videos and prices look pretty reasonable. @Matthew P that really is a tough question and one that I think ultimately boils down to personal preference. They are both insanely loud, great sounding systems but I would say the Corsa has a more unique tone. The term 'exotic' gets thrown around alot when describing their systems and I don't think its a bad thing. Either way if you want loud, you can't go wrong with either. -Justin

Hey Gabriel, the sound itself is pretty much the same! The main change is in the looks as the quads look sick! When it comes to the muffler, they do not change going form single to quad or vise versa- Will

I wasn't completely convinced on this exhaust but after 09:56 , I was looking through the comments and the hairs on the back of my neck went up and I scrolled up to watch and wow. I'm sold. I love the sound it makes when you let off the gas and ready to shift, amazing! Anyone know if this would void warranty though?

This exhaust sounds killer! I run a Stainless Works/ Corsa combo myself and absolutely love it. In regards to warranty, I always recommend running any mods by your local dealer if you are looking to retain your warranty. That being said, in most cases- an Exhaust will not effect your warranty. depends on which exhaust company, mangna flow makes quads as well, so far I've seen this, and roush as the only companies that make quad tips. I had mines custom done, so theres always that route

Might want to call ahead in case it doesn't work out. I called magnaflow about theirs and they said it might not match up. I'm running flowmaster and black quad tips and all that for around $500 which is like half of what the exhausts cost.

i am currently looking at a 96 mustang gt, and i want to build my own engine, but i am not sure if i should keep the 4.6l or go for a 5.0l block. Also, what amount of hp would be controllable for that car.

If you are looking for a engine to handle lots of power then the 5.0 is your best bet. The 4.6 does great under boost, but unfortunately the internals need to be rebuilt when you start running higher psi. If you were to sink your money into rebuilding the 4.6 then it's a different story, but a 5.0 is just overall a better engine to build power off of from factory. P.S. I currently own a 3V 4.6 and I love it!

+Freaky Driftz ok thanks man, I want to get 300+ hp, and i also love the 4.6l, but i know the 5.0s are cheaper to mod and easier to get power out of so im sorta stuck, lol. Also, i do want to build one from scratch, and keep it naturally aspirated, it may be tough with the 4.6l, but i may just take on the challenge. Thanks again for the help on deciding.

Cali Juice not if you get a proper alignment. I'd say take it and get it aligned afterwards to make sure you have no pulling problems or wear due to excessive toe in/out

I know I have to be the only one, but I'm not of a huge fan of the corsa exhaust. Yeah it's loud, it's great, but I think the noise it makes lacks the depth of the v8's rumble… is it because of the double x pipe ? Cause when he passes gears, the exhaust sounds like an asthmatic trying to breath xD

No, that was all I installed. It just seems like the throttle response is not as good as with the stock exhaust.

No, I didn't tune it. Corsa said that it didn't require a tune. However, for some reason, after about a month or so I noticed the throttle response pick back up and now it's way more responsive than what it was when I initially installed the exhaust. With the initial delayed throttle response I left it in sport mode all the time. And even then the sport mode felt like the normal mode felt when I first bought the car. Now, as I stated, for some reason everything is back to normal and my sport mode is back to kickin' ass.
