Placed carbin fiber louver on my 08 challenger. Same process. Looks great. I have no problem seeing out the back window

A must know before installing this louver kit.The screws strip out most of the time.I understand Amazon has I metal stud kit for brackets,but if you intend on leaving them on,I found that the same type adhesive works on nuts if just add a drop inside nut cap before installing on studs.Also you may want to go to any parts store for extra adhesive,didn't seem to be enough to cover surface of brackets, definitely a must have,good luck,you will need it.

I live in arizona where the temps hit 118 F . How will these hold up in that weather? Will they warp ? Will it effect adhesive bonding? Love the look but I am concerned about temps.

As long as you don't shock them with hot water when they're freezing cold and subject them to shock, you won't have any issues. These guys are made of a super durable injection molded ABS, so you won't need to worry about rusting either. I would just make sure to clean them often so road salt doesn't stay sitting on them for too long (just like the rest of your car) and you'll be fine. -Zach

I just bought these. Install went fine with no problems. I am not 100% sure yet but I think these louvers block out enough of the light coming from cars behind you to cause the self dimming rear view mirror to no longer work. Anyone else see this?

The Red 3m covering doesn't remove without tearing up the rest of adhesive. Guess I'll be waiting for a woman to help me finish my install

Very easy to clean , takes a few min to unbolt louvers to clean

I ditched the plastic "hardware" kit and spent $20 for metal plates with metal threaded rod after 5 of the plastic ones got stripped before they ever got tight.

Generally in the U.S. louvers are legal, BUT cops that don't know that might still pull you over.

Its literally a giant piece of plastic. Thats going to rattle, shake and flex in the wind. There is no sturdiness. Dont get me wrong i love american muscle parts but this one aint it cheif

As discussed in the video, they come with foam inserts to keep the material from hitting the glass at higher speeds. No rattling, flexing or shaking with this one. Thanks for watching. - Adam

Rey Perez , no i finished watching because i was genuinely wondering about the product, however after watching it you can tell that its just a giant piece of plastic that will flap in the wind regardless of if theres little foam bumbers to stop it. But by all means if you buy it and like it then thats fine but i will look continue to look elsewhere

@@essquizzy if you're looking for the aluminum louvers, the Same website has them too. They're like, 300$ or more. And if you're driving a Scat pack or an SRT then I wouldn't even put louvers

If your drive a scat,don't put anything,car says it all.Besides, everything will rattle off,lol
