Two weeks ago, everything was awesome and we had a beautiful BGC apartment locked up. But within a few days, the landlord owner canceled our lease, leaving us empty-handed with just a few days before flying from Denver and moving in. In this episode, we're start the 2-day journey to the Philippines on Christmas Day while working to secure another apartment before we arrive. Will we succeed?

Actually we are setting up a second home base in PH until our oldest daughter in Denver goes to college in 18 months. Then we will likely be in PH full time as a home base. But you are right, we will still be traveling but our home life will be in 🇵🇭

Im a Filipina and I’m a flight attendant SFO based for that airline and thanks for being our loyal customer. Watching all ur videos when I’m not flying. Just one tip when you’re flying. Put 1 extra clothes in your carry on bag when flying. Sorry ur checked baggage was misplaced.

You can use a hair blow dryer to quickly dry your clothes. If there isn't one in the room, the hotel will provide one for you. Or drape your clothes over a fan or A/C unit to dry faster.

I visited BGC for the first time a few weeks ago. Took a metered taxi from the airport to Uptown and it cost PHP1100. A Grab from Uptown back to the airport cost less than PHP600.

Oh interesting. We’ve always gotten the lowest prices with meters. But we also heard that if you check grab prices you can show the cab and they will match the price.
