We have a popular saying in india on holi when we put colors on each other wildly & i.e, "Bura naa maano holi hai" meaning "Please don't take offense it's holi"; its a festival with popular social believe that ppl should just get together by forgetting all their complaints, disappointments, grudges, seriousness, sadness, enmity against each other, forgive each other atleast for a day, So ppl get bit wild, loose, carefree aggressive/force putting colors (not in se8ual harassing way) specially on those reluctant for no serious reason, secretly throwing/target full bucket color water or few color water balloons from above the building (balloons can sometime hurt just very little for quick nanosecond),etc wild activities on our homies, buddies, family, acquaintances, strangers passing on street but Non take offense coz its done purely for fun, not to be rude or disrespectful & So We as part of society r just expected to accept it and surrender or even better take part doing same (otherwise just stay home if don't want the craziness) as its just for 1 day, a day of carefree fun, a day of not taking offense, of unseriousness & a day of madness that we should expect from ppl coz on rest of the days they same ppl remain all gud with proper social discipline manners, social distance & respecting ur wishes, opinions, boundaries, personal space,etc etc

Every month of the year, Hindus celebrate some kind of festival. Hindu festivals are based on seasons and position of celestial bodies like Sun, moon, planets, star etc. Some of prominent Hindu religious festival are - Deepawali (festival of light), Holi ( festival of colors), Janmashtami (birthday of Lord Krishna) , Ram Navami (birthday of Lord Ram), Durga Puja, Ganesh puja, Shiva Ratri (Marriage anniversary of Lord Shiva and Parvati), Rath Yatra (Chariot festival associated with Lord Jagannath), Nav Ratri, Boudh purnima, Mahavir Jayanti and many more. These are not restricted to Hindus only. People from other religions are welcome to join in the celebration of these festivals. There are many other festivals like Poila Baishakh, Baishakhi, Rongali Bihu, Ugadi, Pongal, makar sankranti, poush sankranti, Lohri, Magh Bihu which are celebrated in different regions of India. These are mostly harvest festivals. There are also hundres of sub-regional and tribal festivals in India. Some foreign festivals like English new year, Christmas and Eid are also celebrated in India with great enthusiasm.

While those 1 percent can be anywhere, foreigners travelling south East Asia need to understand that majority of people here haven't seen/interacted/read/watched or sensitised to the presence of different races particularly from West moreover all they have been fed all their life is that western world is extremely open minded with complete absence of gender differences hence these overly reach to their women by these men. Yes, with time, education things will change but for the time being westerners visiting south East Asia need to learn to say NO for anything they are uncomfortable with. A strict, loud NO can stop and correct 99.99 percent of their behaviour right there at that moment.

Pushkar is an aggressive place when it comes to Holi. It would be best to start from a Tier 1 city as the first-timer. I hope you didn't face many issues there. Most of the ppls are good except some... Glad u came..
@saumyapandey-zr7jd9 ай бұрын
holi without aggression is like bland food, pushkar is good place than any 1 tier city. 90% of the people weren't aggressive at all .

Please visit South India. Visit once Cities like Bengalore , Kochi and Hyderabad but must visit Specially ancient cities like Tanjor, Mysore, Hampi , Nellore, Trivandrum and kanchipuram. Also visit Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Island and Goa. Must visit Darjeeling hill station, Gangtok, Guwahati and Cherapunji in North East India. Don't forget to visit Pune, Ahmedabad, Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) and offcourse Mumbai. And even Sardar sarovar Dam which has world's Tallest statue in Gujarat (Must visit). India is very diverse and apart from Taj Mahal there are too many UNESCO World Heritage sites present in India. We will wait to see your vlogs on those places.

I used to eat Bhaang raw in my hostel dorm with my bestie 😂 i can't think of stepping outside d room or interacting with people, i would fall, speak gibberish, completely out of my mind, what's with these people...how they get so much energy😮 Bhang makes you a Yogi, chill & relaxed , sleepy not hyper.

Haha, we’ve had some experience with our own version of bhaang. It will do that to you! 🤣
